How Long is Genshin Impact Maintenance?
Genshin Impact’s Version 5.8 maintenance begins on July 30th at 06:00 (UTC+8) and is estimated to take 5 hours.
Player Compensation (Free Primogems!)
While Genshin Impact servers are under maintenance, players will receive 300 Primogems via the in-game mail within 5 hours after the update is complete. You’ll also receive Primogems if there are any additional bug fixes.
You must be Adventure Rank 5 or above before the maintenance started to receive the compensation.

New and Returning Banners in Phase 2
For the second half of Version 5.8, which runs from August 19th to September 9th at 14:59:00 (server time), players get to wish on the following rerun banners:

New Archon Quest and Permanent Area
After Version 5.8 is live, travelers can enjoy the next Archon Quest, “The Journey Home“! This is the Song of the Welkin Moon Prelude, and you must complete Archon Quest Chapter V: Act VI “A Space and Time for You” prior to starting the new Archon Quests. You must also be at least Adventure Rank 28 or above!
In addition, a new permanent area will be added to Natlan. The Speaker’s Chamber decided to build the Easybreeze Holiday Resort on Tenochtzitoc, an island off the western edge of Natlan! For you travelers, the Sunspray Summer Resort event awaits with many rewards to grab!
New Outfits
In Version 5.8, players can obtain two new outfits to customize their characters with! Here’s how to get both of them:
