Bennett Guide & Best Builds
Welcome to our Bennett build guide for Genshin Impact. Bennett is a 4-Star Pyro Support Character who is widely considered one of the best characters in the game. He provides a massive ATK buff, strong healing, and excellent Pyro particle generation. Bennett has two main builds: a Pure Support build that focuses strictly on maximizing his ATK buff and healing, and a Burst Support build that trades some healing for increased personal damage.
Best Weapons for Bennett
Because the damage buff from Fantastic Voyage only scales off Bennett's Base ATK and the Base ATK of his weapon, Bennets best weapons are simply those with the highest Base ATK available, followed by weapons that provide Energy Recharge.

The character will obtain 1 stack of the Mistsplitter's Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Bennett's Stat Priority
Pure Support Build
In a Pure Support build, Bennett simply wants enough Energy Recharge to Burst every rotation, followed by as much HP as possible to maximize his healing. You do not need to build ATK substats, as his buff only scales off Base ATK (Character Level + Weapon Base ATK).
Burst Support Build
In a Burst Support build, the goal is to increase Bennett's damage contribution while still providing his massive ATK buff. You use offensive main stats, but if you find your team struggling to survive, swap back to the Pure Support build.
Recommended Stats for Bennett
Bennett's Energy Recharge Requirements
The exact amount of Energy Recharge Bennett needs depends on your party composition, weapons, and how often you use Passion Overload between Bursts. You can reduce these requirements by around 10-15% for each Favonius weapon proc on your team.
| Skill Use Per Rotation | Solo Pyro | Double Pyro |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 280 - 350% | 180 - 200% |
| 2 | 220 - 250% | 150 - 170% |
Bennett's Talent Priority
Bennett's Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, is the core of his kit and provides his massive ATK buff and healing. It should be leveled as high as possible. His Elemental Skill is useful for damage and energy generation but is a lower priority.
How to Play Bennett
Bennett is an incredibly easy character to play. In most rotations, you simply tap his Elemental Skill, Passion Overload, to generate Energy, and then cast his Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, to heal and buff your active DPS.
His Skill is also excellent for breaking Cryo shields due to its very low cooldown. When using his Burst, remember that the ATK buff and healing only apply while your active character remains inside the AoE circle, so position it carefully around enemies.
Bennett's Best Constellations
Bennett's constellations are incredibly powerful, with C1 being arguably the best Constellation 1 in the entire game.
Grand Expectation (C1) is Bennett's most important constellation. It removes the HP restriction on his Burst's ATK buff (meaning he buffs you even if you are below 70% HP) and grants an additional flat 20% Base ATK bonus to the buff.
Is Bennett's C6 Worth It?
Fire Ventures With Me (C6) is a divisive Constellation in the community. On one hand, the Pyro infusion and Pyro DMG bonus it provides are a massive buff to Pyro DPS characters like Xiangling or Diluc. On the other hand, it can ruin Physical builds (like Eula) or override the infusions of certain characters (like Kamisato Ayaka or Keqing). However, for the vast majority of modern team comps, C6 is either a direct upgrade or has no negative impact, as many newer infusions cannot be overridden anyway.
