Fischl Guide and Best Builds for Genshin Impact

Strengths

• Very little field time required to play Fischl.
• Fischl can act as a powerful battery for your team's Energy Recharge needs.
• Consistent Electro Application due to their 4th Ascension passive.

Weaknesses

• Can be unreliable in Hyperbloom teams.
• Fischl is not invulnerable when transforming into OZ meaning they can take damage or be defeated while using her Elemental Burst.

Fischl can be built as either your standard off-field DPS or focused instead as an off-field DPS for Aggravate-reactions. This impact's Fischl's best stats primarily sets alongside how she is played.

Fischl is best build with Polar Star however this can impact rotations, requiring you to activate Polar's effects before summoning Oz. Fischl otherwise has plenty of comparable 5-Star weapons that she can use while Song of Stillness and Chain Breaker are her best 4-Star options.

Build Fischl with Golden Troupe which is by far her best artifact set for either build type. If you are still leveling artifacts, you can opt instead of a 2-piece setup instead with another EM or ATK% set.

Fischl does not need to level her Normal Attack.

As an off-field Sub DPS, Fischl will often have very little screen time with the majority of her damage coming from Oz, her summon. Oz can be summoned using either your Elemental Skill, Nightrider and remains as a result of your Elemental Burst, Midnight Phantasmagoria.

Because both Nightrider and Midnight Phantasmagoria will summon Oz, you are able to have high uptime by consistently alternating whether you use your Skill or Burst. Always make sure to keep an eye on cooldown timers and bursts to help maintain Oz uptime.

When using Midnight Phantasmagoria, exercise caution. Unlike many characters, Fischl has next to no invincibility frames during her Burst so enemy attacks can still kill you while you have limited control over your movement.

As an off-field DPS, Fischl is flexible in a wide range of team compositions such as Aggravate, Taser and Overload.

Fischl currently is mostly played with either Clorinde or Neuvillette. In Neuvillette teams especially, Fischl provides Electro which is needed for one of Neuvillette's stacking buffs.

Focusing on Spread and Aggravate damage is a great way to play Fischl. Generally, teams contain two Electro characters especially with Nahida in the party because of Nahida's powerful Dendro application. This however is by no means a requirement. Characters such as Tighnari and Dendro Traveler can also be used.

Taser teams are also known as Electro-Charged because of the reaction of Hydro and Electro. An Anemo character generally acts as the driver to swirl reactions.

Fischl in Overload teams works incredibly well with Pyro DPS such as Mavuika, Arlecchino or even Yoimiya. As is always the case with overloaded, enemies will be knocked around often.
