Do Feral Druids Get Weapon Skill in WoW Forever?

While the level cap on the WoW Forever beta is currently only 30, this hasn’t stopped intrepid adventurers from taking on content way above their level range. Many players on the beta have experienced the two newest dungeons, Excavation Site: Wetlands and the City of Dalaran, but some have even ventured into the level 40+ dungeons of Scarlet Monastery: Cathedral, Razorfen Downs, and Uldaman!

While in these high-level dungeons, players have found new items, updated sets, and valuable profession recipes. One new item that caught our eye recently was a pair of leggings from the Uldaman dungeon that gives Druids a brand-new stat: Feral Combat +1.

The Oilskin Leggings previously dropped from Grimlok in Uldaman as well. However, the original version of these leggings only provided the Agility and Spirit stats. This item requires level 42 to equip, so players are not currently able to test how this increase to Feral Combat works. Presumably, this should work similarly to Weapon Skill for other melee classes, which increases the chance to Hit and reduces the damage penalty of Glacing Blows.

Famously, there was also a Feral Combat Specialization Rune in Season of Discovery, which gave Druids +5 Feral Combat skill on their ring slot. This was considered the best-in-slot option because the Feral Combat skill in SoD acted the same way as Weapon Skill for other classes. So far, this is the only item in the game that increases the Feral Combat skill, so only time will tell if this becomes a desirable stat for Druids, akin to Weapon Skill.
