With WoW Forever launching this week, it is the perfect time to revisit our racial tier list for Forever and see where we stand as of right now.

Best Races for PvE in WoW Forever

Night Elf
- Night Elf cements itself as one of the best races in WoW Forever with the addition of Elune’s Light, which is arguably the best racial in the game, giving you an on-demand burst. Shadowmeld has also received some love, now working like Priest’s Fade when in combat, but its use is still limited.
Human
- In Forever, Humans are another really good choice due to their Ruthless racial, providing 1% crit chance. Casters and healers also benefit from the buffed The Human Spirit, increasing spirit by 10% now.
Gnome
- Gnome’s reworked racials in Forever boosted the class massively. The new racial, Eureka! is incredibly strong for classes that don’t rely on periodic effects. On top of that, the change to Expansive Mind, which now increases max Mana/Rage/Energy by 10% instead of Intellect, provides benefits to more specs than before.

Gnome
- Similar to PvE, the addition of Eureka and changes to Expansive Mind already put Gnomes in a solid position. Added to that, Escape Artist‘s snare break and immunity window solidify Gnomes as top picks for PvP.
Orc
- The sole Horde race in S-Tier, Orc’s new racial Shatter Curse contributed immensely to this position. The historical great PvP racials, Blood Fury and Hardiness, contribute to this rank as well. Hunters and Warlocks also get to enjoy Command, which increases Pet damage by 5%.
Human
- On top of its strong DPS incentives highlighted in the PvE section, Humans also get Will to Survive, an amazing stun-breaking effect. Those combined put it as one of the best races in Forever.
