How to Preload your WoW Forever Installation
You can preload WoW Forever right now! Having the game preloaded makes it so you do not need to download anything at launch time.
To do so, download the Battle.net Launcher. Log in, select the WoW Forever icon on the Favorites bar (or find WoW Forever on the Games menu). Once in the game menu, make sure WoW Forever is selected in the game version options, then hit the Install button.
Once the game is preloaded, a green message will appear under the Play button, and you’re good to go!
What is Available at the WoW Forever Launch?
The following content will be available to players with the launch of WoW Forever on November 4.
- PvE, PvP, Roleplay (RP), and RP-PvP Ruleset Realms
- Character cap of Level 60
- The new Skyborne race, able to roll the following classes: Druid, Hunter, Rogue, Warrior, Mage (Alliance-only), Shaman (Horde-only). Available to those who purchased the Skyborne Heroic Pack or above.
- New systems to WoW Forever: Camping, Legacy, Transmogrification, Classic vs. Enhanced settings.
- All Vanilla WoW Zones, including new additions: Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen’dralas, and Mount Hyjal
- New Class/Race Combos exclusive to WoW Forever: Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Orc Mage, Undead Paladin, Troll Warlock
- All dungeons available up to Level 60
- Over 1,000 new quests exclusive to WoW Forever
- PvP Honor System, as well as Battlegrounds available at launch: Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, Darkspear Islands
What Will Be Available Later on in WoW Forever?
The following content will be available at a later date in WoW Forever.
- On December 9, 2026: three Level 60 raids: Barrow Deeps (10-man), Hyjal Summit (20-man), Onyxia’s Lair (40-man)
- Sometime in Winter 2026: Hardcore ruleset realm.
