They said “forget routing” – and just charged in.
One of the most chaotic and entertaining Mythic+ runs of the season probably just happened in Cinderbrew Meadery. A Reddit user shared their experience completing a +12 with a full party of tanks, and somehow, it seems to have worked out.
The group ran with a Blood Death Knight, Vengeance Demon Hunter, Protection Paladin, Guardian Druid, and Protection Warrior. No Brewmaster Monk, which did cause quite a few memes about missed opportunities (and probably a few sad pandas in the comments).
“We pulled the entire first room… played Chewie with the boss… ignored most mechanics. No joke, this was the most fun I’ve had in M+ this season.”
The Chaos Was the Point
- The Blood DK topped both damage and healing, as expected in lower keys
- The Prot Warrior had the lowest ilvl (~670) and died a few times, which dropped their damage
- Most tanks were around ilvl 680–683, so they could hold their own just fine
- Threat was more of a suggestion than a rule – DK usually ended up tanking due to raw damage
OP also shared the damage and healing meters, with the Blood DK topping both:

The run was chaotic, uncoordinated, and full of random pulls – but they still only had 7 deaths and clearly had a blast. No meta routing, no careful planning. Just five tanks, blasting through Cinderbrew with zero stress and (probably) plenty of laughs.
The Community Wants More
The thread quickly blew up with jokes, nostalgia, and tons of compliments for the unhinged comp. A few players even suggested that a 5-healers run should be next.
Plenty of users also pointed out that +12s are easier this season thanks to mid-season power boosts like Turbo Boost and Dinar unlocks. That sweet spot makes runs like this way easier to pull off, especially if you are just in it for the fun.
Is it viable for higher keys? Probably not. Was it fun? Absolutely.
A few players debated how “high” a +12 really is, but that was never the point. This was not about leaderboards or min-maxing – it was just five tanks running wild through Cinderbrew and enjoying the chaos.
Honestly? That sounds like a pretty great night in Mythic+.
