Aqir Invasions are Leaving with Patch 12.1.7
If you speak with a few NPCs in the Aqir Invasion area in Silvermoon, they already hint that the invasion is temporary at best.
Indeed, if you compare the invasion vignettes on live and the PTR, you will see that they are different, and the Aqir Invasions are indeed over with the patch.
What is Not Obtainable From Aqir Invasions in Patch 12.1.7
The main things that will become unobtainable in Patch 12.1.7 are the achievements relating to Aqir Invasions. These are already marked as Feat of Strength on Live, but as the invasions themselves will cease to occur, you will not be able to complete the following achievements in 12.1.7:
Bane of the Swarm: Complete the following achievements. Title reward: Bane of the Swarm. 
Aqir Research Associate: Earn Exalted reputation with the Aqir Research Enclave.
No Hives Left Standing: Complete each type of Aqir Invasion scenario at least once.
Driving Back the Swarm: Complete 10 Aqir Invasions by killing the Aqir Monstrosity at the end of the event.
The only other feature that will become available are the Aqir Research Tokens, dropped from the first Aqir Monstrosity kill of the week. These can be used for some catch-up reputation with the other Midnight Renown factions.
What is Staying from Aqir Invasions after Patch 12.1.7
The bigger thing staying from Aqir Invasions after Patch 12.1.7 are the reputation rewards from the Aqir Research Enclave reputation.
Estelia Archtender, the main reputation vendor, is still selling all her wares with no reputation required, but at slightly higher prices. If you want the rewards and don’t want to spend as much 
Voidlight Marl, it is best to grind the reputation now.
