Aqir Invasions World Event - Midnight Patch 12.1.5 Guide

Aqir Invasions are new world events in Patch 12.1.5. These invasions are world events that happen in Eversong Woods or Zul'Aman, rotated weekly. These events happen once per hour and have achievements and a reputation attached to them.

Aqir Invasions are similar to other types of invasion events such as the Aqir Invasions from Patch 12.0.5. However, Aqir invasions have a few key differences.

• Aqir Invasions rotate between Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman, with the rotation happening every week.
• When a zone is afflicted by an Aqir Invasion, an invasion will start every hour at the top of the hour (xx:00).
• Once an invasion starts, for the first 10 minutes of the hour, a scenario-style event will start, where players will fight back the Aqir in the form of multiple progression-style events where you need to fill up progression bars.
• At the end of the first 10 minutes, an Aqir Monstrosity will spawn. This end boss is similar to a World Boss, and people in the zone have 5 minutes to defeat him.
  • The first kill of an Aqir Monstrosity for the week will give you an Aqir Research Satchel, which contains a piece of Champion equipment, Coffer Key Shards, Champion Mistcrest, and Hero Mistcrest, Voidlight Marl and Gold.
  • Every Aqir Monstrosity kill grants Aqir Research Enclave reputation (explained below) and an Aqir Research Token, used as a catch-up system for other Midnight renown factions.
• Once the Aqir Monstrosity has been defeated, or 5 minutes have passed from its spawn (xx:15 on the hour), the Aqir Invasion dissipates, with another one starting at the top of the next hour.

The Aqir Research Enclave is the new reputation attached to Aqir Invasions. They're a subsection of the Silvermoon Court Renown reputation, and you earn Reputation with them by participating in Aqir Invasions.

Reputation with the Aqir Research Enclave is a little different than other reputations in Midnight. Instead of going through Ranks as you would with Renown reputations, you will go through the normal Neutral to Exalted reputation grind (though at reduced values).

Here's how much reputation you earn from Aqir Invasions:

• Completing an Aqir Invasion event grants 35 Reputation.
• Defeating an Aqir Monstrosity at the end of an Aqir Invasion event grants 100 Reputation.
• Flying through Aqir mobs hovering above the invasion areas grants 1 Reputation.

You can purchase a variety of cosmetic and catch-up rewards with Aqir Invasions.

Matildeux Osril sells vouchers that server as a catch-up to all other Midnight Renown factions. Vouchers are purchased with Aqir Research Token, obtained from defeating the Aqir monstrosity bosses at the end of an invasion event. Each voucher grants the equivalent of one entire Renown level.

Aqir Invasions have a few achievements you can work on, with a meta achievement attached to them.

• Bane of the Swarm: Complete the following Aqir Invasion achievements. Title reward: Bane of the Swarm.
  • Aqir Research Associate: Reach Exalted reputation with the Aqir Research Enclave.
  • No Hives Left Standing: Complete each Aqir Invasion scenario once.
  • Driving Back the Swarm: Complete 10 Aqir Invasions by killing the Aqir Monstrosity at the end of each event.
