Renown Guide for Midnight

The Renown reputation system first adopted in Shadowlands and expanded upon during The War Within, is returning once again in Midnight Expansion.

Renown is account-wide from the beginning, and the level is shared between all members of your Warband, so there is no need for a catch-up system.

Quel'Thalas consists of four zones, each home to a different major faction. As you finish the level-up campaign in each zone, you will be introduced to the new Renown factions, one by one.

As of Patch 12.0., Renown is capped at 20 with all the Renown factions in Midnight.

When you reach Level 90, you will unlock World Quests and Events across Quel'Thalas that will provide additional Renown when completed.

Access your Quel'Thalas Renown standings by looking into the Journeys tab of your Adventure Journal (default keybind: SHIFT + J). Once in that tab, select the Midnight option on the dropdown menu on the top right corner of the page.

The Midnight Journeys tab offers insight into your reputation standing with the major Renown factions in Midnight, as well as tracking your progress on your Delves and Prey journeys.

You will also find information about all Midnight factions in the Reputation tab that you bring up by pressing the "U" key.

As of Patch 12.0, there are four major factions in Midnight.

In Eversong Woods, as part of the Silvermoon Court, you will help the four main Silvermoon noble factions obtain favor to help in the war against Xal'atath and the Devouring Host: The Blood Knights, the Farstriders, the Magisters, and the Shades of the Row.

In Voidstorm, two powerful Domanaar warlords fight over dominion of Slayer's Rise. The Alliance and the Horde will pick opposite sides and work in favor of their chosen warlord with the Slayer's Duellum, an open world, PvP-focused faction.

You will also increase the level/reputation of Valeera Sanguinar, the Delve companion in the Midnight expansion.

You need to gather 2,500 reputation per Renown rank to increase your Renown by 1. The Renown cap in Midnight is 20. Renown is shared between all members of your Warband.

Halduron Brightwing in Silvermoon City has a weekly Renown quest for you that involves a different dungeon every week. To complete it, you must clear the dungeon on any difficulty. Even Follower Dungeons will give credit toward the quest. The quest reward is 1,500 reputation with the faction of your choice.

During the World Quests Bonus Event, The World Awaits (weekly quest) rewards 2,500 reputation (or 1 Renown level) with a faction of your choice after completing 10 World Quests in Quel'Thalas.

Furthermore, you will gain a small portion of reputation from World Quests and events in specific zones. For example, the Saltheril's Soiree event in Eversong Woods grants reputation with the Silvermoon Court, the Abundance event in all Midnight zones grants reputation with the Amani Tribe, and so forth.
