Credit where credit is due, as the community has been talking about a very welcome discovery on Reddit this past day. Mythic Fyrakk is now easily soloable!
If you have been putting off finishing Mythic Fyrakk or farming Amirdrassil for transmog and
Fyr’alath the Dreamrender, patch 12.0.5 gives you a great excuse to finally go back.
Players report that Mythic Fyrakk now falls easily in a solo run. The Heart of Amirdrassil no longer takes damage during the encounter, and spirits entering it grant 10% health regardless of whether players healed them. This removes the main roadblock for solo attempts, which previously required either a tight damage check to burn the boss in 30 seconds or successfully healing the first two spirit waves.
Broodmother Is Also Fixed
The good news does not stop at Fyrakk. Broodkeeper Diurna (often referred to as Broodmother), another boss that frustrated solo players, is now also much easier to kill. The damage reduction on the adds caps at 25%, so they die quickly. The number of egg breaks dropped by half, and the fight now takes around three minutes on Mythic.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
The rest of the raid is mostly soloable with a bit of care. On Smolderon, make sure to pop a defensive on the second tankbuster, or it might one-shot you. On Tindral, pick up feathers with infinite duration rather than finite ones when moving between platforms.
If you get the
Reins of Anu’relos, Flame’s Guidance mount on any character, Druids and Hunters unlock the bird shapeshift form and pet associated with it. This is good to keep in mind, as you do not have to complete the raid on these characters if you received it on your main, for example.
If Amirdrassil has been on your to-do list, now is a great time to finally clear it!
