It’s today! 11.2 launches today on NA realms and tomorrow on EU, so it’s time to take a final pre-launch look at the tanks and healer tier list! The final patch notes with the full class tuning changes arrived on Friday and we got all the needed information (at least for now). So did the last tweaks change anything for the traditionally more stable roles? Let’s find out.
Tanks in Mythic+ in 11.2
As it turns out, there weren’t many changes for the tanks in the final class tuning notes. The list didn’t change much, leaving Vengeance on top, same as Season 2, and Blood on the bottom. The changes wasn’t to the spec order, but rather Brewmaster getting the “Best-Candidate” tier, replacing its previous S. This means pretty much what it says – it might just be the best overall, but we’ll need actual live data to see how it performs, as some things can’t be decided based on notes alone. We also see Paladin move to A+ and Guardian drop to B, but stay in the same place on the list.

Healers in Mythic+ in 11.2
We do see some changes to the healers. While Restoration Druid still sits at the top of the pack, two S-tier residents have flipped to “Best-Candidate”. Both Disc and Resto Shaman might edge out Druid, but we’ll have to wait a little bit more to see. The actual move comes right after that, as Holy Paladin takes over Preservation, and moves to the A+ tier.
