It’s time to check in on the tanks and healers on the 11.2 PTR and see what Season 3 holds!
A Note About the PTR
11.2 isn’t locked in yet and there are changes coming to the classes on a weekly basis. We’ll be updating the list as they come in, so the current rankings may not reflect the final situation when the patch and season launch. There may even be big changes between the patch launch on August 5th and the Season 3 launch the week after that!
Tank Mythic+ Tier List for the 11.2 PTR
Protection Warriors have been steadily rising throughout Season 2. And now in Season 3, they’ve reached the pinnacle! The Warriors take over from the Demon Hunters, but the purple spec isn’t going too far, as it only moves one spot down to No.2. The two specs outclass basically every other, with Brewmaster remaining steady in 3rd, but definitely getting some major buffs and getting pretty close to the top two. Blood DKs drop the most in the patch, reaching the bottom from 4th place. Both Prot Paladin and Guardian move up, and the pink spec moves past the Druid.

Healer Mythic+ Tier List for the 11.2 PTR
The usually very stable healers remain so in general, but there are some shifts coming. Restoration Druids are moving up, as Holy Paladins are dropping like a rock. The Druids find themselves in third, while the Paladins are down three spots in the penultimate position. Mistweavers also get a bump from the Paladins’ fall, and also got some additional buffs in yesterday’s PTR build, so they may be heading higher still. Preservation Evokers see some solid gains as it moves two spots out of the last position. The last two spots are all Holy, as the light seems to have forsaken not only the Paladins, but the Priests as well.
