Zenless Zone Zero players have been waiting ages for Angels of Delusion, the mysterious VTuber-style faction that has been teased for a long time, and now, new leaks might finally give us a clearer picture of what is coming.
A recent leak circulating on Reddit (via Tieba user 寒枫) has started to come up, especially since the source has a pretty solid track record so far.
Angels of Delusion – What Do We Know
According to the leak, information about Angels of Delusion has been scattered across multiple bits of development talks, but here is the most important:
- The faction reportedly has a large number of PVs already produced, with more than five seen internally.
- Two Angels of Delusion characters are said to release first in Version 2.6.
- The third member would follow later in Version 2.7.
- Internally, all three development teams allegedly landed on the same favorite topic: VTubers.
- This led to collaborations with several veteran VUPs (Chinese VTubers).
A Different Kind of VTuber Collaboration
One of the most interesting parts of the leak is how the collaboration is handled. According to the source, Angels of Delusion characters are VTubers by lore, meaning:
- The characters themselves collaborate with VTubers.
- The VTubers do not directly appear in-game.
- This avoids the usual risks tied to real-world VTuber controversies or scandals.
In other words, it is a reverse collab approach, using VTubers to expand the faction’s identity rather than inserting real personalities directly into the game.
Why Players Are Taking This Seriously
This is not just random Reddit posts. The same leaker previously shared accurate information about:
- Ye Shunguang‘s white-haired form and skin
- Vivian and Manato skins
- Major story details from Version 2.2, including Seed SR’s fate and Orphie’s origins
Because of that track record, many players see this leak as plausible, even if it is still unconfirmed.
As always, leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. None of this has been officially confirmed by HoYoverse yet. That said, the timing lines up nicely with upcoming versions, and Angels of Delusion have been suspiciously quiet for far too long.
If this info turns out to be accurate, Version 2.6 could finally be Angels of Delusion’s moment, with a unique take unlike anything ZZZ has done before.
For now, it is wait-and-see, but Angels of Delusion fans are used to that by now.
