Crystallize Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact

Crystallize is an Elemental Reaction caused by applying Geo onto Pyro, Hydro, Electro or Cryo. When a Crystallize reaction occurs, no DMG is involved. Instead, Elemental Shards will be generated and when picked up will grant your character an Elemental Shield.

Up to 3 shards can be on-field at any time with new shards replacing old ones, these grant a shield that lasts either for 15 seconds or until the shields damage absorption has ran out.

Listed below are some characters which effectively utilise the Crystallize Elemental Reaction. This is not a definitive list and other Geo characters can be used.

Character	Explanation
Ningguang	Ningguang is a great 4-star option for the Crystallize reaction. She is great at consistently creating Elemental Shards as long as other SubDPS are available to apply their own Elements.
Navia	Navia uses Elemental Shards differently to other characters, every shard collected grants Navia a Crystal Shrapnel stack to deal more Geo DMG with Ceremonial Crystalshot.
Zhongli	Zhongli is an impressive support often used in a wide range of teams of varying Elements. This makes it easy to generate a lot of Elemental Shards.
