Quicken Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact

Quicken is an Elemental Reaction caused by applying Dendro onto Electro and vice versa. The reaction itself deals no damage. Instead of an icon above the enemy, Quicken is instead indicated by a green lightning effect surrounding the enemy. This is commonly used to set up the Aggravate and Spread reactions.

Quicken functions a little differently compared to other Elemental Reactions. Quicken is not consumed when you create Aggravate or Spread reactions. Instead, Quicken is simply maintained by applying both Dendro and Electro regularly.

Quicken also acts like a Dendro Aura, this means that it can be consumed if you apply Pyro or Hydro which will trigger Burning and Hyperbloom respectively. This is especially important with Hyperbloom which requires Hydro, Dendro and Electro where Quicken helps to ensure all reactions can take place.

Listed below are some characters which help set up Quicken for Aggravate and Spread to occur. This is not a definitive list and many Electro or Dendro characters can be used.

Character	Explanation
Cyno	Cyno is a powerful Main DPS who excels in dealing Electro DMG both in Aggravate and Quickbloom sceanarios. Cyno's Elemental Burst Sacred Rite: Wolf's Swiftness converting Normal, Charged and Plunging Attacks into Electro.
Nahida	Nahida is great in any Dendro team with powerful Dendro application allowing her to set up for both Spread and Aggravate. Being a Catalyst user, Nahida can apply Dendro using both their Normal Attack and Elemental Skill.
Alhaitham	Alhaitham can deal amazing Dendro DMG while being an on-field DPS. Because of his Elemental Skill Universality: An Elaboration on Form converts Normal, Charged and Plunging Attack DMG into Dendro meaning Alhaitham is able to not just activate Quicken, but can also follow through with Spread afterwards.
