Swirl Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact

Swirl is an Elemental Reaction caused by applying Anemo onto Pyro, Hydro, Electro or Cryo. When a Swirl reaction occurs it will deal AoE DMG of the Element involved in the reaction. This also applied the absorbed Element to nearby enemies allowing for further Elemental Reactions to take place.

If multiple Elements exist on enemies when you create a Swirl reaction multiple Elemental Reactions will occur at the same time. For example if there is Pyro and Electro on-field, Overload will occur.

There is also a priority for which Element will be infused into the Anemo itself, this is important for situations such as Kaedehara Kazuha's Elemental Burst which stays on-field. The priority is:

1. Pyro
2. Hydro
3. Electro
4. Cryo

Listed below are some characters which effectively utilise the Swirl Elemental Reaction. This is not a definitive list and many Anemo characters use this Reaction.

Character	Explanation
Sucrose	Sucrose is able to provide powerful grouping as well as great Swirl reactions using both her Elemental Skill Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 and also her Burst Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II.
Jean	Jean is a powerful healer who is also able to deal decent damage. On top of being able to quickly create swirls with her Elemental Skill Gale Blade, she also has the unique ability to apply Anemo to the active character when using Dandelion Breeze which can then allow the active character to self-swirl Elements.
Venti	Venti's Elemental Burst Wind's Grand Ode is able to both pick characters up while creating Swirl reactions. This allows for a wide range of Elemental Reactions to mix in a single place to deal high damage.
Wanderer	Wanderer is fairly unique in the fact that they gain various buffs with whatever Elements they Swirl due to Jade-Claimed Flower . This allows for a more different use of the Swirl reaction.
