Build Introduction
Abyss Rampage Endgame Build is an AoE, speedfarming monster that carries enough damage to melt bosses and confidently push the pit and race for the tower leaderboard. Unlike Apocalypse, it is incredibly safe and tanky, being able to sit in stealth while having minions out to distract our foes.

Class Mechanic – Soul Shards
Soul Shards is the Warlocks unique class mechanic allowing you to bind yourself to a Soul Shard Greater Demon that will fight beside you. They come with a variety of different effects as well as on-use-abilities to help you on the battlefield.
Below you’ll find the recommended Soul Shard Demon to bind for this build:
- Mastermind Shard – Grants Summon Laalish Skill making Recast Skills no longer break Shadowform Stealth at the cost of 2 stacks of Shadowform per Cast. While you have Shadowform, Abyss Skills deal x30% increased damage, and you gain 5% increased Movement Speed per stack.
- Blashphemous Fragment – Recast Skills Hex enemies on hit and increase the damage they take from your Abyss Demonology Skills by x20%.

Paragon Board
Below you’ll find the entire end-game paragon board set-up for this build in detail!
It is imperative to level up all Glyphs to level 15 first to increase activation radius and then to level 46 to unlock secondary damage multiplier. More about paragon glyphs and how to level them, here.
Some paragon points are locked behind the Season Rank System.
Lord of Hatred (Season 13)
Season 13 does not offer any specific seasonal mechanic due to the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion. Instead we’re getting a ton of new features such as the Warlock and Paladin class, War Plans, Talismans, Horadric Cube, Echoing Hatred and reworked skill-trees!
For a complete overview of Season 13, mechanics and theme, new leveling activity, and other changes coming, please take a look at our comprehensive season hub here.
Talismans
The Lord of Hatred expansion introduces Talismans as a new character progression system. You get to equip a Seal and place Charms into its slots for a massive power boost. The recommended setup for the Abyss Rampage Endgame Warlock build is listed below:
- Seal – A 6 charm slot seal with Critical Strike Multiplier or any damage multiplier is the best here. The best set to use here would be “Chains of Horazon” (5 pieces)
- Charm – Abyss or Demonology Ranks, all stats or any defensive or utility affixes is preferred. Make sure you get 5 of them to be of the same set as your Seal and the last charm should be
Crown of Lucion for optimal Talismans. If you are wearing
Crown of Lucion then instead opt to use
Rustbitten Dirk.
Mercenaries
During the Vessel of Hatred campaign, you will unlock Mercenaries to assist you. While you can choose freely early on, we recommend Raheir as your main merc:
For the reinforcement, stick with Varyana, utilizing her
Bloodlust to trigger when any Skill is cast in combat.
Rotation and Build Mechanics
Mechanically the build is quite simple. Almost all of our abilities are merely supporting our main damage source,
Rampage while providing utility and benefiting us in ways such as Stealth, or valuable distractions so we can spam
Rampage in peace.
Blazing Scream is the other outlier, as it is a secondary damage source for us, however, it’s a simple set and forget ability that only needs to be periodically refreshed.
Rotation and Playstyle
Command Fallen – Acts as a distraction for enemies since we can’t be in Nether Step non stop. Helps with Dominance generation/Wrath too.
Blazing Scream – Secondary source of damage, throw it out and redirect if enemies move away from it.
Metamorphosis – Gives us shadowform stacks and a massive damage boost from our paragon.
Command Laalish – Activates our talisman damage and also gives shadowform stacks if we’re near it.
Nether Step – Is an immunity but can also be casted and canceled for massive movement speed bonus, stacks twice.
Rampage – The vast majority of our gameplay is spamming rampage. It is our main damage source and hits like a truck.
Season Updates
Since the Warlock is a brand new class coming to the world of Sanctuary there are no changes to be mentioned.
