Build Introduction
The Earth Bear Landslide Druid build is based around using Legendary aspects to increase the damage Landslide deals while also automating it off the Werebear skill Trample. This is your guide to building a character for endgame activities in Diablo 4, with the optimal setup for skills, gear and Paragon points.
Landslide is the highest base damage Core Skill that Druid has access to and we do everything we can to not only make it stronger, but also through the use of Trample make it a true screen-wide clear. Aspect of The Aftershock removes the Spirit cost for the recast of Landslide while also increasing the damage dealt by each successive hit. Aspect of the Trampled Earth causes Trample to cast six waves of Landslide along the path you travel with it. When you combine these two Aspects, you get a total of 12 waves of Landslide, filling your entire screen with earth-shattering AoE damage.
These Aspects, combined with the Skill Tree, Paragon Boards and some optional Uniques will make you a rampaging Bear of Destruction capable of clearing full packs with the press of one button. This build is capable of taking you into the endgame, achieving Level 100, and beyond.
This endgame build guide assumes your character is at least Level 50. Check the Druid Leveling Guide if you need help getting there.
Build Requirements
The only required Aspects for this build are Aspect of the Trampled Earth, Aspect of The Aftershock, and Subteranean Apsect. You want to have as much DR and Lucky Hit on your gear as possible in order to increase the chance of Earthen Might activating as well.
You will want to get a Vasily’s Prayer as soon as possible so your Earth Spike can be used while in Bear form, but it is not required to start the build you will just use Maul until you get it.
Strengths and Weaknesses
- Great clearing AoE with Trample
- Permanent Werebear Form with Uniques
- Trample is very satisfying to play and watch
- SIngle-target requires manual targeting and can be difficult to get used to
- Two Uniques required to become tanky
- Requires cooldown management

Season 3 GuideSeneschal Construct Companion Powers
The Season 3 theme introduces a Seneschal Construct Companion that can deal damage or provide support to complement your character. Equip the Seneschal with two Governing Stones to activate their abilities, and then link them to three Tuning Stones each to augment the abilities. There are 12 different Governing Stones and 27 different Tuning Stones that can be found in Vaults scattered across Sanctuary. Fuse together duplicate stones to level them up, increasing the potency of Governing Stones or adding augments to Tuning Stones.
Listed below are the recommended Governing Stones and their linked Tuning Stones for Companion Druid Leveling, ranked by importance. The actual damage and stat values of these stones were not provided in the season preview, so the rankings will be updated as the season is playtested.
Note: The Tempest Governing Stone currently interacts with DoT damage in interesting and overpowered ways, accumulating stacks of DoT at a very fast rate and ramping in damage. We do not know if this mechanic is intended or not, but until then, it is the best damage you can get on a pet.
- Flash of Adrenaline: Administers a quick flash of adrenaline into the player, granting bonus damage for a duration.
- Genesis: Increase the effectiveness of the supported Skill.
- Tactical Support: Decrease the cooldown of the supported Skill.
- Duration Support: Supported Skills have their durations increased.
- Tempest – Electrically charge an enemy causing it to deal damage to themselves and additional each second over time. If the enemy is killed, Tempest spreads to another enemy gaining for additional time and bonus damage. These bonuses are also applied if Tempest is reapplied onto the same enemy.
- Burning Support – A portion of the supported Skill’s damage is applied as Burning damage over time. Burning enemies take bonus Critical Strike Damage from the Seneschal Construct.
- Bleeding Support – A portion of the supported skill’s damage dealt is applied as Bleeding damage over time. Enemies take bonus Bleeding damage from all sources while moving.
- Poison Support – A portion of the supported skill’s damage dealt is applied as Poison damage over time. This poison has a chance each second to spread all Poison damage to an additional enemy.

Paragon
The Paragon progression system unlocks at Level 50 and provides a vast amount of character power. On the Paragon Board, bonuses range from minor stats on Magic Nodes to more powerful Rare Glyphs and Legendary Nodes.
As you path towards Glyph Sockets and Legendary Nodes, you should prioritize Damage, Willpower, Resistance, and Life for Normal and Magic Nodes. Glyph radius increases as you level them up. Therefore, if you cannot fulfill Additional Bonus requirements early on, skip allocating extra Nodes for now.
Listed below are images of the pathing you should take along with the locations of the glyphs and order you should choose your Paragon Boards past the initial starter board.
Starting Board
For the Starting Board path up along the right side, heading upward to place a WerebearGlyph into the glyph slot while allocating all the Willpower Nodes within the radius. Follow this up by grabbing most of the Magic Nodes and both Rare Nodes before exiting at the top and attaching Survival Instincts.
Survival Instincts
Rotate the Survival Instincts Paragon Board until it is oriented the same as in the image above. Head left, grabbing the Rare and Magic Nodes on your way towards the Survival Instincts Legendary Node. Once this Node has been nabbed, head back to the start and grab the Rare and Magic Nodes on the right before taking the left side path up and placing Spirit in the glyph slot, grabbing all the Rare and Magic Nodes within the radius. Finish by heading to the left while grabbing the Rare and Magic Nodes along the way. Exit on the left side and attach Earthen Devastation.
Earthen Devastation
Rotate the Earthen Devastation Paragon Board until it’s oriented the same as in the image above. Path downward to grab the Rare and Magic Nodes, then left and upward to grab the Earthen Devastation Legendary Node. From here, head towards the glyph slot and place Undaunted in the slot, taking all the Intelligence and all the Magic and Rare Nodes shown in the image above. Finally, head back to the Survival Instincts Paragon Board and head out the right side of it, this time grabbing the Rare and Magic Nodes along the way.
Constricting Tendrils
The final board, Constricting Tendrils, should be rotated it until it is oriented the same as in the image above. First, we head down and to the right to grab the Rare and Magic Nodes, then continue as shown to get the Constricting Tendrils Legendary Node. Path upward and grab the Rare and Magic Nodes as we path to the glyph slot to place Territorial into the glyph slot and allocate all the Dexterity and all the Magic and Rare Nodes shown in the image above.

Mechanics and Playstyle
The Earth Bear Landslide Druid build utilizes multiple Legendary Aspects that work together to allow us to quickly and safely destroy any enemies in our way. If you can get them, Vasily’s Prayer and Insatiable Fury will increase our damage and defensiveness immensely.
The build is centered around making Landslide as strong as possible; to do this we try and get as many ranks of it as possible to increase its base damage. Talents like Primal Landslide and Earthen Might are taken to guarantee Crits, and talents like Crushing Earth are used to increase damage against Slowed, Stunned, Immobilized, and Knocked Back enemies.
There is one more way we scale all of our Earth skills; Fortified. Due to our Legendary Aspects, Uniques, and some of our skill choices, we should almost always have the Fortified status active.
Fortify
Once the Fortify amount is greater than or equal to current Life, you become Fortified and gain a starting default of 10% Damage Reduction. Obtain additional Damage Reduction while Fortified on gear affixes and Sapphire socketed into armor for more effectiveness.
Rotation
Our damage rotation is actually a priority system and it is the same for AoE and Single Target situations:
- Poison Creeper if off cooldown and enemies aren’t Immobilized;
- Grizzly Rage if it is not active and you are about to fight an elite pack;
- Earthen Bulwark if you are overwhelmed and surrounded by too many enemies;
- Trample if off cooldown;
- Landslide if you have Spirit;
- Earth Spike if out of Spirit and everything else is on cooldown.
