Midnight Season 2 lets players acquire four pieces of Veteran gear from Renown vendors.
Similar to the first season, the renown vendors are making you do a world event located in each of the four main zones.

- Players will need Renown 7 with The Singularity. You’ll need to win a Stormarion Assault world event to get the
Crucible of Erratic Energies trinket. - Players need Renown 8 with The Hara’ti. You’ll need to discover one of the relics from the Legends of the Haranir world event, rewarding you with a waist.
- Renown 9 with the Silvermoon Court requires you to complete Saltheril’s Soiree, rewarding players with a helm piece.
- Renown 9 with the Amani Tribe requires you to participate in the Abundance event, and rewards players with one of two neck choices: Crit/Haste or Vers Mastery.
Crest Upgrades and a Trinket That Still Punches Above Its Track
While the track is slightly lower than in Season 1, where all gear was on the Champion track, this gear does represent a fast catch up for alts and even slight item level boosts, since the gear can be upgraded to item level 295 for crests.
In addition, the Crucible of Erratic Energies trinket, the one acquired from completing a Stormarion Assault, gave some classes and specialization a lot of power early on in the expansion. This trinket can be upgraded to item level 295 once you get it, so this makes it competitive with a lot of early season gear, especially on alts.
