With the release of Patch 12.1.5, the new mega-delve Labyrinth of Kindo’jan is available! One of the features players are chasing in this massive Delve are Sturdy Chests.
Sturdy Chests are one-time chests and a common feature of every Delve. Blizzard had a lot of fun with these in the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan: There are 44 chests scattered around the mega-delve.
Why Should I Loot All the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan Sturdy Chests?
The primary reason as to why you should loot all of these is that each chest grants 150 progress with the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan Delve Journey! It is the fastest way to earn journey ranks and quickly progress throughout the labyrinth. Personally, I was able to max out my Labyrinth journey with 2 full runs, as well as collecting all chests.
Getting Journey ranks also unlocks more Sturdy Chests, as some of them are hidden behind the Loa seals that are unlocked with each Labyrinth Journey rank. This also directly translates into more Mislaid Curiosities looted per Labyrinth, which directly nerfs the Kindo’jan fight at the end of a Labyrinth by giving you more stats via Boons.
In addition, many cosmetics are tied to the Sturdy Chests. Amani-themed transmogs, toys, and Housing Decor, plus special delve-only reusable glove enchants. If you are behind on your Midnight Renown reputations, some Sturdy Chests also grant reputation bonuses to them.

As a note, for the 5 Sturdy Chests hidden underwater in the Central Chamber area, you will need to melt an Ice Wall by using a Fire ability or spell. If you play a class without any Fire damage, you can change your main Omnium Folio ability to the 
Rune of Unleashed Fire, as it deals Fire damage.
