Patch 12.1 is finally letting us display our non-combat pets in Player Housing!
Initially, the feature hit the 12.1 PTR with a limit of 10 pets per house, however, Principal Designer, Jesse Kurlancheek, has confirmed this limit has been raised—by a lot!
Players will now be able to display 100 pets inside their homes, and 25 pets outside.
Non-combat pets will be added to Player Housing through new pet bed decor items. Interacting with the pet bed will allow you to choose which pet to display, and whether you want them to stay put, or roam. Check this article to see all the new pet bed decor items coming with Patch 12.1.
But what if you’re a crazy cat lady without 100 unique cat pets? As things stand on the PTR, it is possible to assign the same pet to multiple beds. Things on the PTR are still subject to change, however we hope this makes it to launch!
