Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) is marking its 2nd anniversary with a simple but welcome gift for all players. As part of the celebration, anyone can log in now to claim 1,000 Polychrome for free through a special anniversary event. While the reward is available now, it appears to be just the first step in a much larger celebration, with the main event expected to begin in Version 3.1.
HoYoverse also shared a heartfelt message thanking players for their continued support. The post reflects on the community’s journey through New Eridu and, more recently, Rosacaelifer, while teasing that the anniversary celebration is only just getting started.
How to Claim the 1,000 Polychrome Reward
The anniversary rewards are being distributed through the Commemorative Gift limited-time event, which can be accessed from the Events tab in-game. Players who have not yet claimed all available rewards can also collect an additional 600 Polychrome, alongside bonus resources including Ether Batteries and Dennies.
With a new Void Hunter waiting in the wings, the extra currency arrives at the perfect time for players planning their future pulls. Better yet, claiming the rewards couldn’t be simpler. They’re available directly through the event menu with no additional requirements beyond logging in during the event period.
Officially, ZZZ’s 2nd anniversary celebration begins on July 28, and HoYoverse has already hinted that it will bring far more than just login rewards. Players can expect plenty of new content, additional anniversary gifts, and the arrival of highly anticipated characters as Version 3.1 ushers in the next chapter of the game.
Although ZZZ had a somewhat rocky launch, the game has steadily found its footing over the past two years through consistent quality-of-life improvements and major gameplay updates, alongside its evolving roster of playable Agents. If this anniversary celebration is any indication, HoYoverse is looking to carry that momentum well into the game’s third year.
