HoYoverse surprised us this morning with a drip marketing reveal for Lucia, a new face joining Zenless Zone Zero in the upcoming Version 2.3 update.
Lucia should be an S-Rank given her drip animations. She is an Ether Support Agent from the Spook Shack faction, making her the group’s latest ghost-story-loving recruit. Her drip art shows her with horns, elf-like ears, a book, and a sort of staff, giving her the look of a mystical Elf coming right out of your latest fantasy book.
A Storyteller From the Hollow?
Lucia’s lore from the drip paints her as some sort of “whimsical” narrator from a Tribe living outside New Eridu:
- “Wanna hear a story about Ethereals? If you listen, we’ll be friends! Listen to one more, and we’ll be best friends!“
- “My tribe lives on the edge of the Hollow, far from civilization… Just because we don’t have all your fancy metal boxes doesn’t mean we’re writing on turtle shells!“
Clearly, Lucia is a character who is both mysterious and very funny, telling stories of Ethereals and Hollow life.

Lucia’s drip reveal has raised a ton of excitement across the community. Players are already speculating how her support abilities will be used. Chances are she will somehow buff Rupture Agents, since we currently do not have a ton of those.
