Furina Off-field Support

Furina is primarily played off-field using her Salon Solitaire to deal damage and draining the parties HP. This HP draining is then used alongside artifact sets of other party members such as Marechaussee Hunter and her Elemental Burst, Let the People Rejoice to increase the teams damage.

    2. CRIT Rate/DMG
    3. HP %
    4. HP
Talent Priority
  1. Elemental Burst
  2. Elemental Skill
  3. Normal Attack

Furinas best weapon is Splendor of Tranquil Waters due to increasing both Furinas HP and also Skill DMG. There are many good non-gacha options however such as Festering Desire which was given out for free and even Fleuve Cendre Ferryman.

For artifacts, Golden Troupe is your best in slot being a huge damage increase compared to most options. For your Sands, Energy Recharge is required if you are unable to hit requirements from Artifact Substats alone. This will often be the case before "They Know Not Life, Who Dwelt in the Netherworld Not!" (C4).

The difference in HP Goblet vs Hydro DMG Goblet is minor with HP being slightly better until C6 but generally will depend on the exact substats. A HP% Goblet is much easier to farm and therefore will give you a better chance at good substats.

2.1.

Energy Recharge Requirements

Furina can need anywhere from 100-220% Energy Recharge depending on how many Hydro Teammates she has in the party as well as if she has "They Know Not Life, Who Dwelt in the Netherworld Not!" (C4). A Favonius Weapon can also lower the requirements by ~10%. Hydro party members using their Elemental Skill a second time would also lower the requirements.

For example, Kokomi refreshing her Bake-Kurage or characters using a Sacrificial Weapon (for example Sacrificial Sword), such as Xingqiu.

C0 - C3 C4+
0 Hydro Teammates 200 - 220% 140 - 160%
1 Hydro Teammates 180 - 190% 130 - 150%
2 Hydro Teammates 150 - 160% 100 - 120%

Combos and How to Play Furina

To play Furina you normally want to use her at the start of your rotation so that you can accumulate Fanfare stacks while setting up your team. Start with Let the People Rejoice and then Salon Solitaire immediately after before swapping to your Healer of choice such as Jean, Baizhu and Charlotte.

Using Charged Attack allows you to change the Salon Solitaire members from Ousia to Pneuma.

3.1.

What is Fanfare?

Furina's main mechanics involve you increasing her Fanfare stacks during Let the People Rejoice to increase your teams damage.

Fanfare itself is a stacking mechanics during this Elemental Burst which increases as HP changes occur throughout your entire team. Both increases and decreases to your parties HP will generate stacks of Fanfare.

Furina supports this with Salon Solitaire draining HP until your team is at 50%. Healing an entire team from 50% - 100% would generate 200 Fanfare. Overhealing does not contribute to Fanfare stacks but does trigger Endless Waltz.

Because of this, a Healer that can heal your entire team is ideal to generate Fanfare stacks quickly. You want Fanfare stacks quickly so that you obtain the maximum possible buff faster, increasing your damage.

At 25%, 50% and 75% Fanfare generated, the amount of people cheering at the bottom of your screen will increase. When you hit the cap the screen will briefly flash white for a moment and the bubbles around the edges become more noticeable.

4.

Furina Best Team Comps

Furina can be used in a wide array of team compositions to support the team and increase their damage. Before C6, she will need a Healer on the team. This can in some situations cause her to not have synergy with some characters but can also unlock new potential. Hu Tao for example can do more damage with Furina and Bennett while being at 100% compared to having a Shielder on their team instead.

A Healer is important because the entire team will drop to 50% HP causing them to be unable to generate Fanfare or buff the damage of Salon Solitaire. You therefore need a healer that can heal over 50% of your entire teams HP.

4.1.

Wriothesley Double Hydro

Main DPS Sub DPS Support Healer
Wriothesley Yelan Furina Mika

A Freeze team supported by Furina and Mika can be a powerful team composition for Wriothesley. Furina and Yelan providing off-field damage as well as Hydro Application for Freeze to occur.

4.2.

FuriTao

Main DPS Sub DPS Support Healer
Hu Tao Yelan Furina

The damage buffs from Furina and Bennett more than make up for damage loss which normally occurs when Hu Tao is above 50% HP. While Bennett is only a single-target Healer and therefore needs to trigger Furina's Endless Waltz, Hu Tao also has regular HP changes from both Guide to Afterlife as well as Spirit Soother. This also helps to generate Fanfare stacks. An alternative healer can also be Xianyun who is a much better healer for Fanfare stacks but changes Hu Tao's gameplay to be Plunging Attacks instead of Charged Attacks.

4.3.

Neuvillette Hypercarry

Main DPS Sub DPS Support Healer
Neuvillette Fischl Furina Jean

Furina is a great addition to Neuvillette team comps providing Hydro Resonance. Jean provides powerful healing and Anemo RES shred while Fischl provides off-field damage as well as also triggering Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority alongside Jean.

Furina more than makes up for the damage loss of having 1 stack missing from Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority.

4.4.

Alhaitham Hyperbloom

Main DPS Sub DPS Support Healer
Alhaitham Nahida Furina Kuki Shinobu

Furina can be a great addition to many Dendro reaction teams such as Hyperbloom. In this example, Alhaitham and Nahida provide Dendro application and damage while Kuki Shinobu provides the healing and also Electro application.

Furina's Constellations

Furinas Constellations are great all-round with each providing great benefits.

"A Woman Adapts Like Duckweed in Water" (C2) is great to improve Furina's Fanfare generation increasing, "They Know Not Life, Who Dwelt in the Netherworld Not!" is really good for lowering Energy Recharge requirements and "Hear Me - Let Us Raise the Chalice of Love!" makes it possible to convert Furina into a Main DPS.

# Name Explanation
C1 "Love Is a Rebellious Bird That None Can Tame" The immediate 150 increase to Fanfare generation massively raises the damage floor while the increased limit allows you to do even more damage during Let the People Rejoice.
C2 "A Woman Adapts Like Duckweed in Water" C2 massively increases the rate at which you generate Fanfare allowing you to easily be at max Fanfare before your DPS takes the stage. The HP increase also makes it easier to hit the 40,000 HP requirement of Unheard Confession allowing you to potential focus your Artifact stats elsewhere.
C3 "My Secret Is Hidden Within Me, No One Will Know My Name" The 3 extra levels on Let the People Rejoice makes it so at level 10, the ceiling of your burst is raised from +100% to +124%.
C4 "They Know Not Life, Who Dwelt in the Netherworld Not!" Furinas C4 removes any Energy Recharge requirements allowing you to use a better Sands and a non-Energy Recharge weapon more efficiently to further increase your personal damage.
C5 "His Name I Now Know, It Is...!" Increases both the Damage of the Salon Members as well as the Healing provided by the Singer of Many Waters.
C6 "Hear Me - Let Us Raise the Chalice of Love!"

Provides a Hydro infusion to all Normal Attacks (which looks stunning) as well as increasing damage. Her Arkhe have new effects.

  • Ousia — Healing while Salon Members are dealing damage and draining HP.
  • Pneuma — Further increases damage but drains HP while the Singer of Many Waters heals.

This allows you to remove the Healer from your team allowing you to instead have an additional off-field DPS to increase your teams damage even further.
