If you’ve been wondering which teams are currently topping the Spiral Abyss charts in Genshin Impact, the latest data from Yshelper offers some pretty definitive answers. Based on usage stats pulled from Version 5.6, these teams are the most commonly used to clear the endgame content-and the numbers tell a clear story about today’s meta.
Leading the pack is the Ayaka/Escoffier/Shenhe/Furina team Ayaka’s new best team composition, pulling in a huge 43.2% use rate. Being used almost exclusively in the first half of Floor 12 (98:2 split).
In second and third is Mavuika/Kinich/Emilie/Bennett and Neuvillette/Kazuha/Xilonen/Furina teams both having around a 31% use rate.
It is worth noting that Wriothesley solo data is mainly just players memeing when possible with the right enemies but does still show how powerful of a character he can be at times.
As always, Spiral Abyss usage data isn’t just about strength. It’s influenced heavily by character ownership, gear investment, and most importantly, specific floor buffs or enemy layouts. For instance, teams that heavily rely on AoE or grouping mechanics might have an easier time clearing specific chambers, thus increasing their popularity during certain cycles.
With version 5.6, the blessing favor both Dendro and Cryo teams with the release of Escoffier’s banner which props up her popularity. While Escoffier is a huge buff to Ayaka’s damage, time will tell if they continue to have a strong usage. With the release of Skirk next patch however, it is likely that future blessings will continue to benefit Cryo characters.
