Local Legend Cineas Guide for Genshin Impact

The Local Legend Cineas is the only Legend available in the Sea of Bygone Eras. He can be found on the far east side of the map underground.

Cineas is a stronger Hydro Vishap fight with a few key mechanics outlined below.

Part way through the fight, Cineas creates a blue AoE which remains around them for the remainder of the fight. This very rapidly drains the HP of your active character so ranged attacks or heavy healing are advised.

This damage is indicated by a purple glow around the health bar of your active character.

At the same time as the AoE, Cineas will generate a Hydro shield displayed below their health bar. This will also consistently generate a Hydro Aura while the shield is active which easily enables Elemental Reactions such as Vaporize and Melt to occur.

Defeating Cineas will grant you the achievement "Cineas", Fragile Bone Shard, Sturdy Bone Shard and Fossilized Bone Shard with greater quantities than non-legend equivalents.

A Precious Chest will also appear in the middle of the arena granting you 10 Primogems.
