Hello again, Warriors of Light! It’s been an eventful past few weeks with the FFXV collab, the Fall Guys collab, and the All Saints’ Wake event. Now we have the schedule for the 2026 FFXIV Tokyo Fan Fest, which runs from Friday, October 30th to Sunday, November 1st! 😮
Included in the festivities are the keynote, Crystalline Conflict Japan regional championship, development panel, two concerts, and a couple of Q&A sessions. For the sake of simplicity, all times are listed in Pacific U.S. time, and each day’s events are grouped up accordingly.
To watch all Day 1 stage events, head to the dedicated Day 1 YouTube stream or official Twitch channel. For Day 2’s stage event streams, you’ll need to visit the Day 2 YouTube stream (this is a different address than the Day 1 stream) or Twitch. Be aware that viewing Keiko’s piano performance and THE PRIMALS concert will require the purchase of a ticket for 4,950 yen. The 2-day ticket is valid for both events.
Friday, October 30th
🎤 Keynote — 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Game producer and director Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) will discuss the future of Final Fantasy XIV, and we’re sure to learn additional details about Evercold. Look forward to a preview of the second new job in 8.X (the first being Bastion), which should be a physical ranged DPS.
Another major Evercold addition coming is Evolved Mode. At Anaheim Fan Fest this past April, we saw demos of four jobs — Paladin, Bard, Dragoon, and White Mage — with the new system designed to condense and streamline actions. Perhaps we’ll see previews of how more jobs will function in Tokyo.
And of course, there’s the Evercold lore. The enormous Realmships seem particularly interesting, and we’re eager to learn more about the role that the Arkcrystals on each skyship have on the expansion’s story.
In the real world, we hope to receive updates on how successful the same-region player matchmaking test was in the Japanese data centers. If everything went smoothly, we should get word on when other regions could expect the same treatment.
Additionally, we could learn more about the Chocobo Companion Overhaul arriving in Patch 8.1. (Get those Thavnairian Onions ready!)
🥈 Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship 2026 Japan, Powered by Logicool G Semifinals — 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Watch as four teams battle to advance to the finals of the Japan Crystalline Conflict Regional Championships! The semi-finalist teams include WeDit, MALIGE, Lucrezia, and Totsugeki.
Saturday, October 31st
❔ Yoshi-P’s Rapid-Fire Q&A Challenge! — 12:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Yoshi-P will try to answer as many questions as quickly as possible. How many will he get through? There’s only one way to find out.
🥇 Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship 2026 Japan, Powered by Logicool G Finals — 1 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
The two teams that win on Friday will meet to try to claim the title of best Crystalline Conflict team in Japan!
🎼 Piano Concert — 3:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Keiko will once again be playing piano arrangements of FFXIV tunes with guest soprano vocalist Amanda Achen. This is a nice way to wind down Day 1, so stay up late for it if you can.
🔊 Development Panel — 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Composers Takafumi Imamura and Daiki Ishikawa and sound director Masayoshi Soken will discuss the process of creating background music and tell behind-the-scenes stories from the production process! If you’re an aspiring video game composer, this panel is for you.
❓ LIVE Q&A — 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
As you’d expect from a typical Q&A, Yoshi-P will field questions from audience members. If you’ve ever wondered how Lalafells manage to drive the Regalia Type-G mount even though their feet can’t reach the pedals, you might get your answer here!
👗 Glamour Collection Fashion Show — 9:50 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Warriors of Light will get the chance to show off their cosplays on stage! Will you see your favorite character represented in 3D? Again, there’s only one way to find out.
☕ Naoki’s Room — 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Naoki’s Room will feature Yoshi-P discussing a variety of topics with special guests on stage. Guests include Hamada Tatsuomi, k4sen, SHAKA, Akami Karubi, Clutch_Fi, Nekomugi Tororo, Obo, Uruka, Tonakaito, and Sasatikk.
Sunday, November 1st
🎸 THE PRIMALS Live — 2 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
THE PRIMALS are sure to deliver another exciting performance with guests AKINO and Yuma Ito! This concert caps the weekend of this year’s Tokyo Fan Fest.
