How Long is Zenless Zone Zero Maintenance?
Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 2.2 maintenance begins on September 4th at 06:00 (UTC+8). The maintenance may take approximately 5 hours to complete.
To install the update, you’ll also need an additional:
- 6 GB on PC
- 3 GB on Mobile Devices (iOS and Android)
- 13 GB on Playstation 5 (PS5 or PS5 Pro)
- 18 GB on Xbox
This is an approximate amount, because it’s relative to how many resources needed to install. If you need more details, then see the official maintenance notice.
Player Compensation (Free Polychromes!)
While Zenless Zone Zero servers are under maintenance, players will receive 300 Polychromes via the in-game mail within 5 hours after the update is complete. If there are any bug fixes as well, then you’ll receive additional Polychromes as compensation.
You must be Inter-Knot Level 4 or above before the maintenance started to receive the compensation.

There is also a new addition to the Bangboo Channel starting from Version 2.2 update: Mercury! If you haven’t heard before, this S-Rank Bangboo is the Obol Squad‘s Faction Bangboo.

New Stories and TV Schedule
Firstly, the next Main Story chapter for Season 2 will release with Version 2.2! To begin “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night,” you’ll need to complete Season 2 Chapter 2 “The Impending Crash of Waves”! Alternatively, you can also experience the story in advance via the Advance Screening function. But be careful of spoilers!
Afterwards, be sure to participate in Seed‘s TV Schedule, which is available for a limited-time! If you don’t have the feature unlocked, then reach Inter-Knot Level 15 and complete the Agent Story “Mole in the Hole (I)”.
New Drive Disc Sets
Also adding in Version 2.2 are two new Drive Disc sets: Dawn’s Bloom and Moonlight Lullaby! Dawn’s Bloom will be Seed‘s Best-in-Slot 4-Piece set, so better farm it if you’re playing Seed!

- As with every Version Update, the New Eridu City Fund battlepass features a new limited-time namecard and avatar
- In addition, the Today’s Outfit in the Store added the Sunny Waves set for Wise & Belle. This was previously available for free from the Tales of Midsummer Dreams event. If you missed out, then give your Proxy a new look with Monochromes!
