Nicole Demara's Best W-Engines

Listed below are Nicole's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, Nicole has some great F2P options and it mainly depends on how many copies of that W-Engine you have for your Nicole build.

The Vault

Dealing Ether DMG using an EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate increases all units' DMG against the target by 15/17.5/20/22/24% and increases the equipper's Energy Regen by 0.5/0.58/0.65/0.72/0.8/s for 2s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Weeping Cradle

While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/0.75/0.9/1.05/1.2/s. Attacks from the equipper increase all units' DMG against a struck target by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 3 seconds. During this period, this effect is further increased by 1.7/2/2.5/3/3.3% every 0.5s, up to a maximum additional increase of 10.2/12/15/18/19.8%. Repeated triggers only refresh the duration without refreshing the DMG increase effect. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Kaboom the Cannon

When any friendly unit in the squad attacks and hits an enemy, all friendly units' ATK increases by 2.5/2.8/3.2/3.6/4% for 8s, stacking up to 4 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately, and each friendly unit can provide 1 stack of the buff. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Best Drive Discs for Nicole Demara

Moonlight Lullaby

2-Piece Set: Energy Regen +20%
4-Piece Set: When the equipper is a Support character and uses an EX Special Attack or Ultimate, the DMG dealt by all squad members increases by 18% for 25s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Astral Voice

2-Piece Set: ATK +10%
4-Piece Set: Whenever any squad member enters the field using a Quick Assist, all squad members gain 1 stack of Astral, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of Astral increases the DMG dealt by the character entering the field using a Quick Assist by 8%. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Nicole Demara's Stat Priority

When building Nicole, her stats are a little less important as her main utility is via the supporting she does. This is why Energy Regen is the best Disc 6 option to enable more EX Specials.

Outside of that, Anomaly-based stats are generally better for Nicole's personal damage however it can depend on the team composition.

Nicole's most important skills to level are her Core Skill, Ultimate, EX Special Attacks.

How to Play Nicole Demara

Nicole Demara is built primarily as a support character; she specializes in debuffing enemies hit by using her enhanced bullets and launching powerful crowd control in the form of Ether Energy Fields.

Nicole operates off a reload system. Plainly put, using her crowd control abilities (EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate) will force a reload on her bullets, enhancing them and causing her Basic Attacks and Dash Attacks to deal more damage.

Nicole can debuff the enemy using enhanced bullets or Energy Fields, all enemies hit by this will have their DEF reduced by 40% (With Enhancement F) for 3.5 seconds. Generally speaking, Nicole's Energy Field is the main way you activate this huge buff. The only downside being that for how good 40% DEF reduction is, it only lasts 3.5s.

To add to the aforementioned debuffs, Nicole's Energy Fields will pull enemies together, acting similarly to how you'd expect a black hole to work. This creates a window of opportunity for your main damage dealers to strike, dealing increased amounts of damage to all enemies in the Energy Field.

Upon reaching Mindscape 6 and obtaining Corrupting Energy Field, Nicole can also increase the CRIT Rate against an enemy by up to 15%

Nicole Demara's Best Mindscapes

Nicoles best Mindscape is Corrupting Energy Field (M6) which provides a very significant CRIT Rate buff to all squad member's including Nicole. That being said, M1, M2 and M4 are also noticeable upgrades to her base kit allowing her to further embrace her supportive role.
