Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3, titled “Memories of Dreams Bygone“, promises a mysterious and thrilling adventure through New Eridu and beyond.
The recent livestream revealed everything from spooky urban legends in Lemnian Hollow to exciting new Agents like Lucia, Yidhari, and Komano Manato. You will explore dreamscapes, face complex combat challenges, and unlock exclusive rewards.
From new gameplay mechanics to revamped events, the update sets the stage for both terrifying mysteries and strategic battles across the Waifei Peninsula.

A New Chapter in New Eridu
Version 2.3 sends players into the most mysterious streets of New Eridu, where invisible walls, rainbow-colored Hollow cakes, and mischievous Bangboo set the stage for strange and spooky urban legends. As factions retreat following the fall of the Exaltists, the Miasma shrinks, revealing hidden locations ready for exploration… If you are brave enough.
The Spook Shack forum members are joining the adventure, hunting for Lemnian Hollow’s urban legends and also missing miners. From mind-reading monsters to hypnotic dreamscapes, the mysteries in New Eridu promise more thrills but also more danger.
Meet the New S-Rank Agents
Two new S-Rank Agents will go live in Version 2.3:
- Phase I – Lucia
- Ether Support Agent
- She uses her passion for Ethereals in battle. She generates Dream Points to upgrade her attacks, apply team buffs, and unleash her Ultimate while riding an Ethereal across the battlefield.
- Her Harmony skills enhance squad damage, and her EX Special Attack spreads the Darkbreaker buff, granting a Sheer Force DMG bonus.
- She can also create an Ether Veil that heals agents who step inside.
- Phase II – Yidhari
- Ice Rupture Agent.
- She gains additional Sheer Force based on her maximum HP.
- She thrives on risk and reward. She converts low HP into high damage. When her HP drops below a certain percentage, her Crit DMG increases and her DMG taken reduces.
- Loosing health also increases her Decibels gain.
- She can restore her own HP as well.
- When she charges attacks, her tentacles can support her and block incoming attacks.
Phase I also welcomes back Vivian, as well as A-Rank Komano Manato:
- Fire Rupture Agent
- His Molten Edge state boosts critical damage and Adrenaline recovery
- His Ultimate and chain attacks deal massive fire damage.
- Similar to Yidhari, he consumes his own HP and heals himself through his own attacks.
Players can unlock him for free after finishing the event called “When Dreams Remain Unfinished“. You can also unlock his new outfit, White Heart Silhouette, as a free limited-time reward from completing the main story:
Exciting Events and Gameplay Updates
Version 2.3 introduces multiple new events:
- Lucia’s Agent Story – Tales of the Dreamless
- Discover why Lucia is so into Ethereal tales!
- When Dreams Remain Unfinished
- Enter Yidhari’s dreamscape to control monsters, face her inner demons, and uncover hidden memories. Get ready for quick-time interactions, turn-based strategy, and monster synergies that all play a role in this world.
- Completing the event rewards a free copy of Manato!
- Threshold Simulation: Branching Echoes
- It is time for Fairy to take the spotlight! She will set up the relevant simulation system in Suibian Temple, and you can then command Agents from there and work together on an optimal strategy to stop the Companion Hollow’s expansion.
- Snap! Shining Strike
- Time to take your combat camera again, and take some cool snaps! The event also received some nice updates, so do not hesitate to participate!
- Chronicle of Counseling
- Help citizens with fortune-telling and mind-guiding activities.
- 141 Eco Art Exhibition
- Assist the 141 convenience store promoter by donating Used Batteries for rewards.
- Timesworn Hills Explorer’s Guide
- There are still unfamiliar areas within the Lemnian Hollow. Grab the exploration guide from Fairy, and check it out!
- The usual login events that grant 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons
- Extra sign-in rewards for a total of 480 Polychromes
- Data Bounty and Routine Cleanup are coming back as well
