- Primary Spirit Guardian: Gorilla
- Attacking with a Gorilla Skill deals 150% Thorns to enemies you hit and grants a Barrier for 2.5% of Maximum Life for 3 seconds. All Skills are now also Gorilla Skills

Gear, Stats, Gems, and Runes
The following sections cover all systems that are important if you want to improve the power of your character in the endgame of Diablo 4.
Legendary Aspects
Each Aspect is listed with its matching gear slot. Do your best to keep each Aspect in the assigned slot. Remember to salvage Legendary Items with higher Aspect values to unlock them in the Codex of Power, and then imprint them onto gear pieces with the preferred affixes.
With the addition of the Horadric Cube Crafting, and the Kullean Tuning Prism it is possible to add a second Aspect to your Amulet, even adding an Aspect to Uniques. While this can be attempted infinitely much like Masterworking or Tempering, it can take a lot of resource to reroll a very specific Aspect. Keep an eye out for any Aspect that has a large number for Offensive or Defensive scaling, as Aspects in the Amulet slot gain a 50% bonus to their potency.
| Gear Slot | Gems/Runes | Aspect / Unique | Legendary Aspect / Unique Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Helm | According to your secondary Spirit Hall choice, your Skills are all additionally Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla, or Centipede Skills. Your Skills deal x [25 – 30%] increased damage per Spirit type they have. | ||
| Chest | Spending Vigor Heals you for [7 – 10%] of your Maximum Life. Every second, your active Cooldowns each drain 10% of your Maximum Life from you to reduce their durations by 2 seconds. | ||
| Gloves | Aspect of the Moonrise | Damaging an enemy with a Basic Skill grants you +4% Attack Speed for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Upon reaching maximum stacks, you enter a Vampiric Bloodrage, gaining x [40 – 60%] Basic Skill damage and 15% Movement Speed for 10 seconds. | |
| Pants | Your Casts damage Close enemies for [125 – 150%] of your Thorns and also deals 100% of this damage as Poisoning over 3 seconds. Each time you’ve retaliated with Thorns, for 5 seconds the Poisoning damage is increased by 100%, up to 300%. | ||
| Boots | Aspect of Apprehension | Once an enemy is Slowed by at least 80%, they also become Feared for 3 seconds. You deal x [30 – 40%] increased damage to Feared enemies. | |
| Amulets(50% bonus) | Your Critical Strikes cause your Poisoning on an enemy to burst, dealing [250 – 300%] of the total Poisoning instantly to them and 10% of the burst to surrounding enemies before removing the Poisoning effect from the primary target. | ||
| Ring | Casting Evade consumes 1 stack of Resolve to increase your damage dealt by x [50 – 60%] for 5 seconds. Gain Armored Hide’s Passive Effect. | ||
| Ring | Aspect of Supremacy | Enemies you kill while an Ultimate Skill is active grants a stack of Supremacy, each increasing your damage by x [6 – 9%] , up to x [60 – 90%]. When an Ultimate Skill ends, you gain 5 stacks of Supremacy, but you begin to lose one stack every second. | |
| Weapon (200% bonus) | Your Basic Skills deal x [140 – 180%] increased damage and always use their 3rd attack. Every 3rd cast of a Basic Skill strikes three times. |

Build Mechanics
Rotation and Playstyle
Spiritborn builds typically use most of their abilities on cooldown to maintain powerful short-duration buffs, and then use a single primary ability and their Ultimate skill to deal the majority of their damage, and this one is no different. Here is a list of your abilities, what they provide you and how you should use them:
- Use
Ravager on Cooldown to increase your Cooldown Rate. - Use
Scourge on Cooldown to make nearby enemies Vulnerable and Weakened, and grant you Damage Reduction, as well as apply poison damage. - Use
Toxic Skin to improve your Life Regeneration and Thorns, and apply even more poison damage to your enemies. - Use
Counterattack to increase your Dodge chance, and to cause dodged crowd control effects to be reflected to nearby enemies. - Use
The Devourer for massive spikes of damage on any large packs or dangerous enemies, scaling your Thorns and Poison Duration. - Spam
Withering Fist as your primary damage tool, dashing to nearby enemies and applying powerful poisons, and healing with every hit.
Runeword Synergy
- YulKry – Casting a few skills with a Cooldown will trigger the Spiritborn
Vortex skill without needing to add it to the Skill Bar, allowing you to passively group enemies up through your regular skill use. - CirTzic – Casting 5 Skills will trigger the
Concussive Stomp ability, knocking down nearby enemies, which will help keep you safe against more dangerous enemies.
Season 14 Updates
In the Death Awakening Season, a Death Cult is chasing you through Sanctuary! Defeat the Risen appearing through Ruptures to earn Seasonal Reputation and Rewards. In the Endgame, all Unique items can drop as Mythic Uniques, and can be crafted in the Horadric Cube, allowing more powerful and targeted affixes. You can also choose to upgrade a regular Unique to a Mythic, but can only wear a single Mythic crafted this way at a time. For this build, you will want to prioritise
Sepazontec as your first Mythic.
Obol Gambling
Similar to Kadala in Diablo 3, the Purveyor of Curiosities lets you gamble your Obols for 850 item power gear at Level 70, making them a great way to fill in missing affixes, Aspects, or upgrades. There is also a small chance to receive an Ancestral piece with item power 900.
