The Best Manaforge: Omega Raid Specs for Season 3 Launch

Starym's Avatar by Starym

The raid and season are live on NA servers, so it’s time to see which DPS specs will perform the best in the Manaforge! There’s been some last-minute tuning yesterday, so we had to wait for the final assessment of the specs, and it’s now ready. We have good news for the undead as both Death Knights are in S-tier!

The DPS

There’s plenty of changes compared to Season 2 and Liberation of Undermine, as the class tuning and the brand new raid mixed things up a lot! Our new top-dog is Elemental, which is good news for Shamans since Enhancement still isn’t very high, even after a few rounds of buffs. Demonology is the chosen Warlock representative in the top 3, and Unholy rises to the DK top, but just barely, as Frost is right behind it.

Fury is at the top of the A+ chart, and Destruction is very close behind, with Affliction dropping to A tier, but all three Warlocks are doing pretty well. The Mages are clustering pretty high in A+, with only Fire getting left out. The other two top dogs of Season 2 also manage to hang in there, as Devastation and Marksmanship are doing solidly.

The Top Tiers

Now let’s take a look at the full top tiers and the many DPS specs populating them. These are curated and made by our guide writer Petko.

You can check out the full tier list with all the categories, as well as commentary for each spec and all the utility they bring to groups in our guide here.

That’s what the specs will be starting the Season 3 dungeons as, and we’ll see just how much more tuning is in store by the end of the week. Death Knights are at the top of the world overall, as they’re dominating in both the raid and Mythic+ so far. We’ll see how long it lasts!
