New Lynx Rush

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the new lynx rush compared to the other talent choices for that tier with regard to raiding, and whether the new bleed effect will make a massive difference on its usefulness or not. I have no idea Posted Image

Personally I think its a nerf.

Bosses with mutilple targets eat up the dot effect, so it wont stack as high.

Than again this is just a guess, I havent tested it nor have I seen any tests done yet.

Im curious aswell what the numbers will tell us.

To me this seems more like a change to the way in which the damage is done, rather than the damage itself, to make it less bursty for PvP. I've not gotten to play around with it much, so we'll see what comes up.

I personally feel that it has increased my damage output. Ever since the patch I have been pulling more DPS, and it especially helps me keep up better sustained numbers than I was pulling previously. When there are multiple targets however, it won't stack up on my main target as high because my pet is jumping around applying it to other enemies and it seems to lower the damage a bit. Keep in mind that we got a 5% RAP buff =).

As of the lynx rush, still struggling with it.

Readiness before or after the stacks are gone, that my question overall.

On multy targets I feel its a nerf. its spread single stacks and doesnt combo with Beast Cleave.

Contrary to what I said earlier in the thread, the new Lynx Rush seems to be a smaller DPS boost than A Murder of Crows, even for Beast Mastery.

I also have experienced some DPS increase, but I think its because i can cast cobra shot in movement and thats much more easy than switching aspects middle of the fight which sometimes i forgot to switch back to aspect of the iron hawk. On stone guard casting and moving, specially when I have chains its a great advantage without loosing much dps

As everyone said, I think on single target it work pretty similar to the old talent, on multi target I think is a loss.

Sorry for my bad english

Well, I used comparative simulations in Simulationcraft, and they show a 3-4K DPS increase for using A Murder of Crows instead of Lynx Rush.

I'll definitely give it a shot next time I'm on!

I am eager to know what everyone thinks about WW dps after the first raiding week and therefore evaluate my rotation and performance, so despite that I am not very good at English, I carry out this poll as a conversation starter.
In the first week of Legion I was very excited about WW because in ALL the dungeons  I did way more damage than every other classes, sometimes 30% or 40% more. This high expectation was met with slightly frustration and confusion when it came to raid content last week. Last night my guild killed heroic Xavius and here is the log: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/rJRXdwHDKPc6ga8y#fight=26&type=damage-done. I ranked 7(vincenkw) but that was mainly because I happened to outlive most of others and got a chance to do a lot of damage during the crazed 15 secs. During earlier attempts my DPS ranked around #10 - #14 and almost got replaced, and my ilvl(853) was higher than a good part of the raids. The other night I did heroic Ursoc with a 12 men pug team, I ranked #3 eventually but also almost got replaced earlier because I ranked around #7-#10 during attempts that last for about 3 to 4 minutes, my ilvl was 851 and the #1 and #2 was hunter and DH, their ilvl were around 848. About the artifact level, I've asked several guild members and we are all around 20.
All in all, I feel like WW is not so competent as I have thought it would be, what do you guys think? Also, it seems to me WW usually don't do well comparatively in the first 3 or 4 minutes which often result in being replaced while the team is making attempts, what is your experience regarding this issue?

      Dear Fellow Warriors,
I've been playing arms for quite awhile now, and I've not been doing well in raids. On fights like the Dragons, routinely bottom tier of my group's dps.
On Ursoc though, I was 4th. However, my dps seems too far from what others are able to accomplish. (IE, I'm only doing 212k DPS on Ursoc - Normal)

On the Lesser Sparring Partner, i'm only doing about 150k dps. after two minutes-3 minutes of parsing

To help distill the issues with my rotation and take away most of the mechanics, let's use the gear check boss, Ursoc, since it's relatively immobile.

      My Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/frostmourne/Darksong/simple

Let's compare two logs. One's mine (ilvl 844 - 212k dps), with someone of similar iLvl (844 368k dps), on the same fight in Normal Ursoc:
      My Logs: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/YDcMvgnAJpPhXyfK#fight=13&type=damage-done&source=56

      Comparison Logs: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/93kqYVwpQv1fA2ag#fight=19&type=damage-done&source=135

Ok, taking out the fact that I don't have a legion pot, and didnt use Pot of the Old War, I seem to be doing very little damage, my MS hits for a lot less, etc.

Taking a look at my damage during Heroic Dragons of Nightmare, is rather depressing. Here I finally managed to buy some flasks, but not to much effect it seems.

      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/T9QJD4LVZHfMzwgP

      Let me explain my rotation:

      1. Charge
      2. Stack Focused Rage to 3 stacks
      3. Battle Cry + Colossus Smash + Avatar,

      (During Battle Cry)
Hit CS/MS when it pops up, else FR+Hamstring till 3 points, slam if FR already at 3.

      (Once out of Battle Cry)
Continue building FR stacks, hit CS and MS when it comes up (even if FR less than 3)

      (Once in Execute Range)
      Colossus Smash->Execute ->CS->Exe when available.

PS: One question, since I've been focusing on maximising my mastery, my non-CS/shattered Defenses MS has been pathetic, maybe doing 200k damage with 3 FR stacks. Should i be maximising my CS duration (IE: do NOT hit CS again when there's still a few seconds left on the CS duration?)

Thanks in advance for ANY help at all.

Cleared Heroic and Normal Emerald Nightmare in the first week of it's release.
      Classes Needed:
Discipline Priest that can switch to Holy when needed  Rogue Always looking for exceptional DPS of any class.

      About Us:
We are a guild, made up of former members of <Red Shift> and <Casually Addicted>, on Bleeding Hollow (PvP Server on a Chicago Datacenter) that have a common goal and will do what is necessary to achieve it. We are Shifty Casuals.
We are a group of professional adults, who believe success in raiding doesn't correlate to number in days/hours you spend raiding. We are starting a fresh page within our guild history and sticking to a 3 day a week raid schedule.
We don't tolerate elitism, bigotry, misogyny or any of the like. We enjoy our calm, adult environment and have no qualms with protecting it.
We do loot council which is fair and distributes loot for the progression of the raid as a whole and not an individual player. No favoritism, no loot drama.
We have our sights set on top 100 US for Legion and are looking for like-minded individuals to join our ranks.

Raid Days and Times (All times in EST as that is our server time):
      · Tuesday 8:45pm-11:45pm
      · Wednesday 8:45pm-11:45pm
      · Thursday 8:45pm-11:45pm

      Who We Want:
Since we are reforming and building for the expansion now is a great time to get in on the ground floor and clear content with us, while prepping for the new expansion. These are some key traits that we are looking for:
      · Someone who understands that 3 nights a week raiding means that you need to bring your A-game each and every night. Attendance is expected to be near 100%. By committing to raid, you are committing yourself to our raiding schedule.
      · The ability to perform under pressure. We only recruit impressive players, and spots are always competitive.
      · Extensive class knowledge of your class. (IE: Alpha/beta testing, keeping up with theorycrafting, properly gemmed/enchanted, always be up to date on the intricacies of your class (not solely your spec(s)) and on the utility of the entire raid group.)
      · A computer that can handle 20-30 man raiding and the ability to communicate via VOIP when needed. You must have a working headset and mic, and you must be prepared to use them. We will not read chat during boss fights. Inability to give a vocal response will not be tolerated as it directly hinders progression.
      · Tough skin. We're always looking to improve ourselves as should you. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but flaming and insulting is not tolerated whatsoever.

If you have what it takes to be a part of this great team and community, feel free to apply @ http://tinyurl.com/shiftycasualapply or contact any of the officers for additional information.

Hey I just wanted to ask some of the more experienced players , what I could do differently/better on my Rogue since I only started playing Rogue with the beginning of Legion. Here are Logs from last nights encounters (Ursoc,Nightmare Dragons, Il gynoth).
Ursoc and Nightmare Dragons seemed fine, but on Il gynoth I got loads of bad rolls and was assigned to kill corruptor tentacles. Forgot to log Nythendra though , which was probably my best fight and I bloody destroyed that dragon :D
