A number of minor bugs identified in the February 10 closed beta patch have been rectified in today's hotfixes, and an improvement to the Reconnect System was included in these tweaks as well.

Here are the complete notes:

General

  • The Reconnect System has received several improvements, which should help players more quickly rejoin in-progress Heroes matches from which they’ve disconnected. The Reconnect System will continue to undergo evaluation going forward, and further improvements will be implemented as necessary with future updates.

Bug Fixes
General

  • Fixed an issue in which players could be repeatedly prompted to reconnect to a match that had already been completed.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player to lose control of his or her Hero after reconnecting to an in-progress game multiple times.
  • Try Me and Training modes will no longer generate error text.

Battlegrounds

  • Resolved a crash that could occur while playing on the Garden of Terror Battleground.

Heroes

  • Brightwing’s Soothing Mist Trait will no longer stop functioning after coming under the effects of Zeratul’s Void Prison.
  • Fixed an issue which could allow Zeratul’s Singularity Spike to deal more damage than intended when cast multiple times using the Double Bombs Talents.
  • Raynor’s Adrenaline Rush Ability will no longer cleanse movement impairing effects prior to learning the Fight or Flight Talent.
  • Respawn waypoints set from The Lost Vikings’ tombstones onto an enemy Hero will no longer track that Hero through the Fog of War.
  • Spirits created by Chen’s Storm, Earth, Fire Heroic Ability will no longer fly across the Battleground after using their Triple Attack or Split Up Abilities to cross an enemy Zeratul’s Void Prison.

User Interface

  • Fixed an issue which allowed players to access bonus free-to-play Hero rotation slots prior to unlocking them at Player Levels 12 and 15.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent a player from receiving abandonment penalties after leaving a Hero League match during Draft Mode.
  • Options settings will no longer be reset to default if Heroes of the Storm was installed to a filepath that contains non-English characters.

The hotfixes needed for this game are for towers and forts! I mean the forts barely deals damage to the heroes.

Like in League of Legends, a Turret is a safe place to run behind, you can be sure that, atleast at low levels, the enemy won't jump on you under turret, and even if they do you can kite and kill them somehow.

But here in Heroes of the Storm, the enemy just jump in, even with the reduced attack speed from the fort attacks they will just simply kill you and run away. Specifically I remember one time that I was running away with low health and I thought phew I survived now that I'm under fort, then Zerathul just jumped in with half hp, killed me in 3 seconds with the fort debuff and then walked away while he was getting hit by 1 fort and 2 towers!!!

So I'm not sure if it's meant to be like this or not, but we really need a safe spot when we are able to survive a fight and run away, I mean you put a lot of effort to just run away from a gank or something, and then you don't have anywhere to go and hide to Hearthstone!

The last balance update dates back to November 15 when Varian was released. We've seen some hotfixes on November 21. My wild guess would be balance update next week and Ragnaros live the week after. Reworked Haunted Mines should be back too.

The Nexus Challenge has been introduced in mid-November and is here to stay until January 4, 2017. It offers quite interesting Heroes that are a beneficial addition to your roster, a 31-day Stimpack and even more rewards if you're into Overwatch.
If you feel like it's taking too long to complete the 30 games then you're doing it wrong! Most of this is common sense, but you can easily finish it in several hours, because AI games with Friends count towards the 30 game requirement.
First, join an in-game chat, such as /lfg or /reddit. It makes looking for other people who also want to complete the objective much easier. The easiest method is to complete 30 games with AI set to Beginner with 4 other players. You can completely ignore objectives and all players should focus on pushing a single lane together. This is called AI rush and my games usually take no more than 5-6 minutes before we destroy the enemy core.  I've been even able to complete a game in 4:40.
      Tips
If you're joining a random group, don't forget to right-click a player's portrait and add him as a friend. I usually do this with every group member, because sometimes a single person doesn't confirm it. Don't start the game by clicking "Ready" unless at least one player has accepted your friend request or the next game played won't count toward the Nexus Challenge requirement. We've got guides ready for all the Heroes you get from the challenge Auriel Greymane Kerrigan Li-Ming Zarya Ideal compositions for speed runs, should include Sylvanas (to disable structures), Auriel (no mana dependency), Zarya or Tassadar for shields etc. (thanks to @Krazyito for pointing out).
