First thing that jumps out to me is that he needs to work on staying alive. Almost all of your 6ish min attempts he is dead well before the majority of the raid.

First time picking apart some logs for someone else, but here goes. Im just going to look at wipe 23 since it was a longer one, even though he died at 4:30. It looks like his uptimes are good on dots while he was alive. He used his second dark soul right after the first, which doesnt make much sense since he would have just blown all of his resources into the first. Even though hero is up, it should be saved for a more critical time when he can make the most of it, probably sometime within execute phase. His Dark Soul usages arent lined up with Metamorphosis uptimes well, he should aim to stay in meta the entire duration with 8+ casts of soul fire. He used his Grim:Doomguard in conjunction with Dark Soul well. He also isnt making a great usage of his trinket procs to jump into meta to dump excess fury and molten core procs. He didnt cap fury, but it could just be used to greater effect. This looks like the biggest problem outside of him dying alot. He should use his last glyph slot for something survival oriented, either Demon training if hes going to run with SacPact or eternal resolve for passive 10% damage reduction. He also needs to make sure to pre pot and use his second in conjunction with dark soul in execute phase/whenever is most effective, but that may be because he died too early. Getting in the perfect prepot and cast to get back to back trinket procs is important for the opener. Thats all I have for now, but some more experienced people will probably be along shortly to help more :)

Shadowmatter here,

Thanks for the tips. Dying alot isnt usually my problem. It was my first attempt on Mythic Gruul and was having an off night.

The reason I used dark soul back to back because im not sure when its really needed other than in the execute phase when I tend to have 2 stacks back up in time for that anyway. My biggest problem (I believe) is not knowing when too dump my soul fire procs.

Here are my logs for Hans + Frans

and also Beast Lord

https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/8m6gLqXxjaTVtryZ#fight=9&type=damage-done&source=21

Any problems that you can see would be great. I value you criticism a lot and really appreciate the time you taking to help me turn them average logs to great logs.

If you use both stacks of DS you should never get back up to having both up. The cooldown for one does not start til the cooldown for the other is done. So that would mean you went 4 mins without using a DS. Or am I missing reading what you said?

You are right im just saying the fight is about 8 mins long and by the time execute phase starts again both stacks are up, I just dont know where to use the DS outside the pull and the execute.

Hanz and Franz- Work on bringing your doom uptime to the 99% mark like your corruption is, and make sure to maintain both on both bosses as much as possible. You cast cata 4 times, but only hit 7 targets. The last cast looks like where it missed, but you may not have been able to get both when its hectic at the end. You used chaos wave alot, but you werent using GSR so im not sure why you bothered unless you were trying to catch both bosses with them before they leaped up. Chaos Wave is great for capturing procs when hand of guldan will not be able to tick to its full length, and will not be able to be stacked to 2 for its full length. Granted that leaves alot of scenarios when Chaos Wave comes out on top, there tend to be fewer of those in low target scenarios. Usually also try to only use hand of guldan when you can do both stacks, there was some times when you cast 1 with no following one. Your meta and dark soul line up much nicer here. Hanz and Franz can be an exception because of movement, but try to use your soul fires in meta and with strong trinket procs and not in caster form.

Beastlord Darmac- Dot uptimes, bring them closer to 100%. With spears everywhere there should be more than enough to keep multiple corruptions and dooms rolling. Not having corruption up is wasting your nice 4 set and more chaos wave damage. Try to line up your dark soul and cata better on the adds for maximum burst, and to use cata in caster on them to get super 4 set procs since they shouldnt live through dooms anyway. Save a charge of chaos wave if you can for when the pack is weak to regenerate a ton of fury from the killing blows. This can be rather hard if you arent used to how fast they go down in your group, and you wouldnt want to miss a cast on a large number by doing it too late. Make sure not to waste 4 set procs, adds are every 30 seconds or so and you can plan accordingly, dont be afraid to cast out an extra hand of guldan on spears or something to prevent capping. Its kind of a hectic fight to read, so thats all i have there. You might want to try some /petattack macros in your spells to make sure your felguards felstorm doesnt go to waste on a single spear and you can make the best of it on packs.

Personally if there isnt a real push phase, I use my extra charge and my second pot when i get something like GSR/ring/weapon enchant all lining up again and i have the resources to make the most of it. Usually the execute is just the easiest because of unlimited soul fires, and boss mechanics tend to demand a push then.

For Hans and Franz have you tried DemServ/GoServ? I used to play Cata on it but the timings are off too much so when I switched I did much better. However, I admit that might just be the pet doing all the work while I "headless chicken" it. Oh well whatever works.
