Sub DPS Help

4 posts in this topic

I'd say cast less Hemo, tighten Prep usage (right after Vanish) and use a 2nd pot.

You could've also cast Ambush twice before dancing on opener, you got 4pc.

Cast Rupture AFTER Shadow Reflection. Let the shadow copy it, our highest DPS skill. Try to extend your FW on opener, cast Vanish before or right after FW falls, and Prep it immediately. Once it's near falling again, repeat the dose - Vanish. Treat Vanish as a mini Shadow Dance. By then your SD is near out cooldown, and you can dance again. =)

As for pot... You used randomly @ the middle of the fight. Nope. You gotta use 2:

- Pre pot: 3s before fight;

- Bloodlust with your burst.

I haven't seen anything else, but let others give some input for it. =)

Hmmm, thanks for the input.

As far as 2 pots, I prepot at -3 seconds always, which may not show up in the logs, and the 2nd I used along with my SR coming back up a 2 minutes in, just like Noxe does.

Also, I only use 2pc t17 in sub, since the offset pieces I have are mythic or mythic warforged, and the 4-piece dps increase isn't as good as the ridiculous stat increase I get from the offset + 2pc.

I'll adjust my opener and see what that does for my FW uptime and SR damage with rupture.

Also, should I not be using hemo to keep the DoT up? I noticed Noxe rarely if ever does (only when Gruul faces him).

Are you sure? I can maybe see this being the case for Mythic wf, but I honestly think the 4pc is amazing and wouldn't give it up. Show me math and I'll buy it

No, Hemo is pretty useless atm, and is really only good to use if you can't BS. At best, it's dps-neutral to apply it when Find Weakness isn't on the target
