Barbarian Class in Diablo 4
The Barbarian is one of the three announced classes for Diablo 4, with a total of 5 playable classes being featured in the game.
Barbarian Lore
The Barbarian has unparalleled strength and expertly wields an entire arsenal in battle, with a weapon for every occasion. He bellows intimidating war cries and unleashes ground-shaking slams to send approaching hordes reeling.

Barbarians have long been a staple of the Diablo class-set and, as expected, they are rejoining the cast for Diablo 4.
While there has been very little information revealed about the progression of the Barbarian lore for Diablo 4, we still know a fair amount about them from the first few games.
They worship Bul-Kathos, the Immortal King, who was the greatest Barbarian king and managed to bring together the warring tribes of Barbarians around Mount Arreat. He made a sacred vow to defend the mountain and, even after his death, the Barbarian order had upheld that vow.
After the destruction of Arreat, the Barbarian order crumbled without its former purpose to hold them together and many reverted to their former tribes, before Bul-Kathos had united them. As they once again become more exposed to the people of Sanctuary, the populace began to understand the history and lineage of the Barbarians and a small number of them took up arms against the evil that plagued Sanctuary, including the playable Barbarian in-game.

Barbarian Gameplay
Barbarians are, as always, the juggernaut of Diablo 4. They use their primary resource Fury to deal devastating Physical damage to their enemies, through a variety of slams, throws, and bleeds.

In Diablo 4, Barbarians will receive the Arsenal system, which allows them to swap between 4 weapons and therefore use a variety of moves. They will be able to use two 2-handed weapons and two 1-handed weapons. Due to this, they will also have the highest number of legendary items available to them.
