How Long is Honkai: Star Rail Maintenance?
Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.6 maintenance begins on September 24th at 06:00 (UTC+8) and is estimated to take 5 hours.
To install the update, you’ll also need an additional 18.2GB on PC or 5.0GB on Mobile Devices. This is an approximate amount, because it’s relative to how many resources needed to install. If you need more details, then see the official maintenance notice on HoYoLAB.
Player Compensation (Free Stellar Jades!)
While Honkai: Star Rail servers are under maintenance, players will receive 300 Stellar Jades via the in-game mail within 5 hours after the update is complete. If there are any bug fixes as well, you will receive additional Stellar Jades as compensation.
You must be Trailblaze Level 4 or above before the maintenance started to receive the compensation.

For the first half of Version 3.6, which runs until October 15th at 11:59:00 (server time), players can warp on the following Event Warps:

Collaboration Event Warps
In Version 3.6, players can still continue to warp on the following Fate/stay night Collaboration Event Warps:

As a reminder, for all of Collaboration Event Warps, you must use Star Rail Special Passes. In addition, all 4-Star characters and Light Cones have an equal drop rate. Unlike the other Event Warps, the Collaboration Event Warps will remain available in-game beyond the current Version Update. The Collaboration Event Warps also share a guarantee warp count with each other, but not with other types of Warps.
If you didn’t receive it already, you can also obtain a free copy of Archer through the Collaboration Benefits event. The free copy and ascension materials will be available until the end of Version 3.6. For more information on the Collaboration Benefits event, see our guide below.
New Cavern Relic Stage
In Version 3.6, players can begin farming two new relic sets:
World-Remaking Deliverer
- 2-Piece: Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
- 4-Piece: After the wearer uses Basic ATK or Skill, if the wearer’s memosprite is on the field, increases Max HP of the wearer and their memosprite by 24%, and increases all allies’ DMG by 15% until the wearer’s next Basic ATK or skill.
Self-Enshrouded Recluse
- 2-Piece: Increases Shield Effect by 10%.
- 4-Piece: Increases Shield Effect provided by the wearer by 12%. When an ally target has a Shield provided by the wearer, their CRIT DMG increases by 15%.
These two relic sets are quite formidable, and are certainly worth building for Evernight and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae. So be sure to start farming when maintenance is over!
New Trailblaze Missions
Perhaps it’s time to discover Evernight’s secrets! I wonder how Dan Heng discovered his newfound powers 👀. Version 3.6 adds the next Trailblaze Mission, “Back to Earth in Evernight“! You must complete the Trailblaze Mission “Captives, Behold the Expanse Beyond Light” prior to starting the new missions.
If you haven’t played through Amphoreus yet, you can also experience it in advance through the Finality’s Vision feature.

New Challenge Mode: Anomaly Arbitration
A new permanent addition to the end-game challenges is now available: Anomaly Arbitration!
You can begin this new gameplay mode after completing the following:
- Unlock Equilibrium Level 6 or Higher
- Full-Star Record in Memory of Chaos: Stage 12 (any Version)
- Full-Star Record in Apocalyptic Shadow: Difficulty 4 (any Version)
It features several high-difficulty stages which must be cleared in a set number of cycles. Trailblazers will form 3 teams to take on the trials. Upon winning, you can exchange for exclusive rewards, such as a new pet, new Pom-Pom outfit, avatars, namecards, and more!

Divergent Universe: Protean Hero Update
There is also an update to Divergent Universe: Protean Hero! Some features from this update include the following:
- A new Occurrence event titled “Cyrene“
- Synchronicity Level expanded to Level 100
- Golden Blood’s Boon “Cerydra: Gambit by the Flame” effect text now includes extra turns
