How to Play New Birds New Items Multiplayer Mode

There are two game modes in the event:

  • Story Mode: Help Qingque break her curse through Duo Duels, and help her accumulate Reputation
  • Multiplayer Mode: Unlock after reaching Reputation Rank 3

In Duo Duels, one player accumulates combat power by matching fruit tiles within a given number of moves. After, their opponent will play the same board and match tiles in the same number of moves as the previous player.

There are four rounds of alternating between the player and opponent. If you have a higher combat power than your opponent at the end of the fourth round, then you win the duel.

In Story Mode, whenever Qingque wins a match, she gains Reputation. Additional event functions will unlock with a higher Reputation Rank.

If you create tile matches of:

  • Four or more identical fruits
  • Swap two Super Bombs

You can then trigger a combo elimination, which can cause multiple matches in one move and give you additional moves.

The event features all of the previous Origami Birds from the Beta Version, Origami Bird Clash, as well as some new ones.
