Realm of the Strange Event Guide for Honkai: Star Rail
This event will run from July 31st to August 11th, 2025 at 03:59:00 (Server Time).
Realm of the Strange is a limited-time double reward event. This means Cavern of Corrosion rewards will double in drop rates for a limited-time only, and will return to normal after the event ends.

What is the Realm of the Strange Event about?
Realm of the Strange is a limited-time reward event. Whenever players obtain relics from Cavern of Corrosion challenges, you will receive 100% more relics instead. You only get a limited amount of double reward attempts, so use them wisely!
How do you Participate in the Realm of the Strange Event?
In order to participate in the Realm of the Strange event, you need to complete the Adventure Mission: Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Drifting located in Jarilo-VI.

To get started, teleport directly to a Cavern of Corrosion. You can either find them on your map, or navigate using the Interastral Peace Guide's Survival Index menu. Each Cavern of Corrosion will feature two relic sets.

What are the Realm of the Strange Rewards?
During the event, you can earn double of the Relic rewards, up to twenty-one (21) opportunities. The Relics you obtain per run are randomized, from the piece and set. The Relic can be any Head, Hands, Body, or Feet piece, but it can only be one of the two Relic sets available in the Cavern of Corrosion.
For each double reward opportunity, you also get a bonus of Credits and/or Trailblaze EXP (if you have not yet reached the maximum Trailblaze Level). Each opportunity costs 40 Trailblaze Power.
The double reward count will not reset during the event. As such, once the event period is over, you can no longer obtain double the rewards from Cavern of Corrosion challenges. Be sure to schedule your time and Trailblaze Power accordingly!
How to Complete a Cavern of Corrosion Challenge
If you have never completed a Cavern of Corrosion challenge before, you basically fight wave(s) of enemies in exchange for Relic set rewards. The type of reward you get is based on which Cavern of Corrosion challenge you choose. As Caverns of Corrosion will feature multiple pieces of each Relic set, you may not get the Relic or set you want.

Once you have selected a Cavern of Corrosion challenge, you can set the level of difficulty, which affects the rarity and amount of rewards you get. The difficulty is configurable on the side of the screen. All Cavern of Corrosion challenges use 40 Trailblaze Power per run.
Please Note: The available difficulties are subsequently unlocked as you upgrade your Equilibrium Level. To learn more on how to increase your Equilibrium Level, see our guide below:

You will have the chance to configure your team before starting the challenge. Depending on which Cavern of Corrosion challenge you choose, the game will recommend Combat Types for you to use. These Combat Types are usually commonly shared across enemies, so it is highly recommended to use characters with these Combat Types.
To learn more on how to build effective teams, consider reading the guide below:
If you do not have a 4th character to slot in, or if you feel like your characters are underpowered, you can choose to use a Support Character instead. A Support Character is another player's character that they have built and showcased on their profile. You can use characters from either your friends or strangers, and also filter based on Combat Types and Paths.

Once you have selected your team, click start to begin the challenge. Your goal is to defeat all of the enemies and wave(s) available. You can consume 40 Trailblaze Power each challenge.

If all of your characters have been defeated, you will get the opportunity to try again. If you succeed, you will have the opportunity to start a new challenge using 40 Trailblaze Power again.
You can also adjust your Auto-Salvage options under Relic Settings. This feature will help with managing Relics in your limited inventory space. For 4-Star Relics and below, you will only obtain Lost Gold Fragments or Lost Lightdusts from auto-salvaging.
