Season 3 Launch Week: Do These First or Fall Behind

We’ve compiled a comprehensive to-do list for you with the activities you should prioritize during Season 3 launch week. Let’s get started!

Before Logging In

Before you log in to the game, we recommend you to download and install the Chore Tracker addon. Why? Instead of wasting time figuring out your Season 3 priorities, this addon spits them out in a handy to-do list directly in the game.

Some Warnings Ahead of Season 3

We’ve issues multiple warnings that you should be aware of before you delve into the new season:

Don’t select your Great Vault reward right after the reset to avoid duplicates.
Don’t burn your first Catalyst charge before reading this.
A grave mistake can cost you 694 Hero-track loot and 2,000 Undercoins, so don’t fall into the trap!

Dornogal Chores

While in Dornogal:

Pick up the weekly dungeon quest and complete it. As your reward, choose +1,500 reputation with K’aresh Trust. This week, you must clear Cinderbrew Meadery. A Follower Dungeon will do if you don’t want to group up!
Wrath Timewalking is available this week! Pick up the weekly quest
Pick up and complete the Titan Disc quest from Brinthe for your 1 Fractured Spark of Starlight and Pinnacle Cache.
You can also pick up and complete the delves weekly from Brann and The Call of the Worldsoul from Faerin Lothar.

Finish the K’aresh Campaign

The fourth chapter and the epilogue are available this week on live servers! Finish them! Pick up the raid quest for slaying Dimenius.

Upgrade Your Reshii Wraps

Earn 3 Ethereal Strands to upgrade Reshii Wraps from 707 to 714 this week!

Phase Diving Weekly

Complete the Phase Diving weekly quest for 7 Untethered Coins, used to buy various cosmetics and mounts!

Ecological Succession Weekly

Ecological Succesion should become available this week as you complete the fourth campaign chapter. Don’t forget to complete the weekly quest for a chance at one of the ugliest mounts you can get right now.

Kill World Boss Reshanor

World Boss Reshanor on K’aresh drops guaranteed Warband-bound Item Level 688 Champion gear on your first kill on the account per week. Keep in mind you may receive gear that you cannot equip.

Manaforge Omega Raid

Venture into Manaforge Omega and put an end to Dimensius! Clearing the raid increases your chance to obtain the new class sets. You might want to combine this with the epilogue quest that rewards an optional crafting reagent used to craft high ilvl gear.

This week, you will start gaining Renown with the Manaforge Vandals!

Mythic+ Dungeons

For Myth track loot in your next week’s chest, you want to farm 8 Mythic +10 dungeons this week.
If that’s too much, you want to at least run Mythic +6 eight times for Hero 4 loot in your chest next week.

Complete Deathless Tazavesh Hard Mode for Guaranteed Myth Track Gear

Tazavesh opens this week and if you complete a deathless hard mode run with your group, you will be awarded with 1 piece of Myth track gear, but set your expectations low, because it’s super easy to die…

Delves

Blizzard made some changes to Delver’s Journey progress and locked Delver’s Bounty behind rank 2, which means Bounty maps won’t drop until then.

What you want to do is reach rank 2 first before using your Shrieking Quartz! This can be done by:

Completing the weekly quest on the highest-possible difficulty.
Opening Bountiful Coffers on the highest-possible difficulty (limited to 4 per character, so you might want to use alts for more XP).

Keep in mind delve completions no longer give Delver’s Journey progress!!!

You want to clear 8 Tier 8 delves for Hero-track gear in your next week’s Great Vault! Also, don’t forget to use your Bounty map if you reach Rank 2 for guaranteed 694 Hero-track gear piece for the week.

K’aresh World Quests

Complete K’aresh World Quests with Contract: The K’aresh Trust to further increase your reputation gains with K’aresh Trust to unlock the infinite augment rune!

Craft Your Item Level 720 Item Level Gear Piece

Combine 60 Gilded Ethereal Crests with Spark of Starlight to create your BiS item! Check out our class guides to determine, which slot is best for you!

Use Your First Catalyst Charge

Once you’ve run the raid, use your first Catalyst charge to finish your 2 or 4-piece set bonus!

Choose a Reward from The Great Vault

Once you’ve finished with your weekly progressions, select an item from the weekly chest to reduce the chance of duplicate item slots.
