Mechanic Breakdown (Normal/Heroic)
1.1.
Phase 1:
Infusion Tether
- Several non-tank players will be tethered to the boss with a visual line from them to the boss accompanied with a small pull towards the boss.
- Running to the outer ring of the room will snap this tether and spawn a pool of
Living Silk on the ground.
Living Silk deals a large amount of damage to any player that stands in it. Ensure that you place these away from the raid and close to each other to conserve space in the room as you will be playing on the edge of the room in Phase 2.
Piercing Strand
- This is the tank mechanic of the fight. Swap during each cast as this casts back to back.
- This will apply a 45 second debuff which increases damage taken from it by 1000% when hit.
- It is possible to be hit by your co-tanks cast.. Avoid that, and also avoid hitting other players.
Lair Weaving
- A ring of adds will spawn from the edge of the room and slowly converge to the boss.
- Kill one of these adds to create a hole in the wall so you can escape.
- Shortly after this the boss will reach 100 energy.
- At 100 Energy the boss will cast
Overinfusion Burst requiring you to run to the edge of the room.
- Be sure to avoid any
Living Silk pools on the ground as you escape.
- Devastation Evokers may not be able to hit the boss while this far away.

1.2.
Phase 2 (50% HP):
- At 50% HP the boss will cast
Unbound Rage and descend. They will now take increased damage and add a soft enrage to the fight as you will eventually run out of space. Save
Bloodlust/
Time Warp for this phase.
- The middle of the room will now be covered in
Arcane Ichor meaning you will need to play on the edge of the arena.
- Avoid the webs that players put down with
Infusion Tether.
Writhing Wave
- This frontal will be cast on the active tank and must be split with other players.
- At least 5 players are needed for this, else the boss will get a
Writhing Swathe absorb shield.

Arcane Outrage will deal a heavy burst of damage to the raid and spawn more
Arcane Ichor forcing you to move around the room.
1.3.
Heroic Changes:
Lair Weaving adds are now protected with a
Woven Ward shield. The only way to break this is by a Tank hitting it with a
Piercing Strand.
- If you break
Infusion Tether in a patch of
Living Silk you will be stunned by
Silken Snare.
- You cannot soak 2
Writhing Waves in a row. Two alternating groups are required.
2.
Quick TLDR Guide
1.4.
Phase 1:
- If you have
Infusion Tether run to the edge of the room to snap it. Keep them close to each other. On Heroic If you snap this in another web you will be stunned.
- Tanks: Aim
Piercing Strand away from the raid. On Heroic you need to hit an add to break the shield.
- Kill one of the adds from
Lair Weaving to create a hole in the wall.
- Run to the edge of the room at 100 Energy to avoid
Overinfusion Burst.
- At 50% Phase 2 will begin.
1.5.
Phase 2 (50%):
- The boss lands on the ground and takes more damage from
Unbound Rage in this Phase. Save lust for it.
- Avoid the webs that players put down with
Infusion Tether.
- Soak
Writhing Wave with half the raid in your assigned team.
- Healers:
Arcane Outrage will deal a heavy burst of damage to the raid and force you to move. Plan cooldowns accordingly.
2.
Mythic Changes
Infusion Pylons
- Four
Infusion Pylons are now present in the room. These will channel into the boss periodically and must be blocked by standing in the way of it.
- Active Pylons alternate so it is advisable to have four teams of soakers set up at each of the locations ready in the path to instantly soak it.
- Failure to soak these will trigger
Excess Nova dealing heavy raid wide damage.
- Soaking these will apply a stacking
Hyper Infusion debuff. This means you will want to have teams of 3/4 players for each Pylon.
Lair Weaving now spawns in sets of 2. This means that the tanks cannot miss hitting them with
Piercing Strand.
- Shortly after casting
Arcane Outrage in Phase 2 the raid needs to spread.
