Mechanic Breakdown (Normal/Heroic)

1.1.

Phase 1:

  • Manifest Matrices Icon Manifest Matrices
    1. Several DPS and Healer players are randomly targeted by this mechanic.
    2. After 6 seconds they will spawn a permanent pool underneath them.
    3. Standing in the pool after it has spawned will deal a large amount of damage and cause you to teleport randomly.
    4. Avoid trapping people when spawning them.

  • Tanks: Obliteration Arcanocannon Icon Obliteration Arcanocannon
    1. This acts as the tank swap for the fight.
    2. The tank targeted needs to run away from the raid (ideally to a corner of the room) as when this detonates it will deal damage to the raid based on the distance.

  • Eradicating Salvo Icon Eradicating Salvo
    1. When the raid is not dealing with any other mechanic they should be stacked up behind the boss.
    2. Eradicating Salvo Icon Eradicating Salvo needs to be split soaked with other players.

Mythic Changes

The strategy for dealing with the boss is largely unchanged in Mythic. The main difference are the adds in the intermission which should not pose too much of a risk for a Mythic raiding team.

  • Arcanomatrix Atomizer Icon Arcanomatrix Atomizer walls now happen in Phase 1. This means you will need to save your Phase Blink Icon Phase Blinks for it (if you were using it for mobility on Heroic.
  • Eradicating Salvo Icon Eradicating Salvo requires at least 5 targets in each hit. No more solo soaking!
  • Two adds now spawn in the intermission which need to be killed.
  • For the first intermission they spawn either side of the first set of Expulsion Zone Icon Expulsion Zone meaning that you will need to split the raid. For each other intermission they spawn in the path you would take to get to the boss, so you can run as a single unit.
