Dimensius Raid Guide in Manaforge Omega
Dimensius is the 8th boss encounter in the Manaforge Omega raid in The War Within.
On this page you will find a both a short and a full written guide for this encounter, with everything you need to know to take the boss on in Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty.

Mechanic Breakdown (Normal/Heroic)
1.1.
Phase 1:
- Start the fight by using the portals to get to the boss platform. This will pull the boss.
- Kill the two Living Mass adds, pick up the
Excess Mass and group together in the middle to survive
Devour.
- Split the raid in two teams and go left and right with the active tank staying in the middle.
- Living Mass (Adds):
- Two of these are on the platform when you pull the boss. After this they only spawn from
Massive Smash.
- When killed they drop an
Excess Mass underneath them. Assigned players should pick these up.
Excess Mass is used to pull players down that have
Reverse Gravity and to create
Collective Gravity safe zones to survive
Devour.
- Two of these are on the platform when you pull the boss. After this they only spawn from
- Tank Mechanics:
Fists of the Voidlord acts as the melee swing on this fight. This will deal damage directly to you but also deal damage to players in 15 yards.
- This will also knockback any players hit.
- Tanks should stay away from the rest of the raid.
- You can be with the raid when you are not tanking the boss or are soaking
Devour.
Massive Smash is the tank swap for this phase. This will knock the entire raid away from your location.
- Stand in the centre of the platform to create a consistent space that players will know how to handle the knockback.

- After dealing with the first
Devour the fight will follow the below pattern:
Massive Smash knockback from Tank.
- Spread out with
Dark Matter circles.
- Living Mass adds will spawn. Two on each side. Kill these and pick up the
Excess Mass
- Soak
Antimatter pool. Wait for it to activate.
- Two players will recieve
Reverse Gravity. Move to the back of the platform.
- Players with
Excess Mass stand under them to pull them down.
- Cycle 1: Repeat the above stages.
- Cycle 2:
Devour. Players with
Excess Mass group up to create the safe zone.
- Repeat until Dimensius has been defeated to start the Intermission.
- Each
Devour will require 1 more
Excess Mass to create the
Collective Gravity safe zone. As the boss will gain
Growing Hunger stacks.
- As you will have a maximum of four
Excess Mass this means that the fourth cast will kill you.
Antimatter:
- One of these pools will spawn on each side of the platform. If you are inside of it when it activates you will take a large amount of unnecessary damage.
- Once it activates it will start a timer which will deal a very large amount of raid damage.
- Standing inside of it and soaking will reduce the raid damage.

Reverse Gravity:
- Two players will be targeted by
Reverse Gravity. They will be flung into the air and fly towards the boss.
- If they reach the boss they will die.
- They can be bought back to the ground by the players with
Excess Mass standing underneath them.
- Two players will be targeted by


1.2.
Intermission:
- At the start of this phase every player will gain the buff
Soaring Reshii. This allows you to mount up and fly to the platform.
- If
Soaring Reshii expires you will die.
- Follow the rings and avoid any obstacles while flying. If it looks like it will kill you, it probably will!
- Optional:
Stellar Core
- In each of the flying phases there are three
Stellar Core which are away from the main path.
- If you have players who are skilled Dragonriders they can pick these up to deal 5% damage to the minibosses each.
- The locations of these are noted on the images below.
- In each of the flying phases there are three
- Flight 1:
- Flight 2:
- Intermission Platforms:
- When you land on the platform you will have a miniboss to deal with. Each miniboss has a different special ability.
- Platform 1: Avoid the
Mass Ejection frontal from the miniboss. This is aimed at the current tank.
- Platform 2: Move away from the
Stardust Nova circle.
- Shared Abilities:
- Kill one add in the line going towards the boss. Watch the bosses hands and avoid
Extinction by moving to the left or right edge.
- Kill one add in the line going across the platform. The boss will push the raid away with
Gamma Burst get pushed through the gap.
- If any Tank gets to 15 stacks of
Touch of Oblivion they will die.
- For the second platform drag the miniboss towards the boss on the opposite side of the platform.
- Kill one add in the line going towards the boss. Watch the bosses hands and avoid
1.3.
Phase 2:
- Pop all CDs at the start of the Phase. Dimensius is
Destabilized. Stunned and takes increased damage.
- You can hit the boss while you are falling to the ground.
- Do not stand under the boss, or move outside of the ring that is on the edge of the platform. You will die.
- After
Destabilized ends Voidstars will spawn on the platform. They will deal raid wide damage when they land and significantly more damage if you are standing under them. You will run into them to survive
Devour later in the phase.
- Each cast of
Devour will make the platform smaller and after 3 Devours you will wipe.
- Later in the fight Voidstars will be destroyed by Dimensius with
Supernova run away from them when this happens. This Voidstar will now become a
Black Hole making them 1 shot you if you run into them.
Darkened Sky:
- Three
Darkened Sky circles will appear on the platform. Pay attention to the order they spawn in and move next to the first one.
- If the second one spawned on your left, move left of the first circle and vice versa.
- Stand next to the first circle and soak the wave.
- Wait for your X debuff to expire and run into the second wave.
- Stand still and get hit by the third wave once X debuff expires.
- Three

Darkened Sky:
- Three
Darkened Sky circles will appear on the platform. Pay attention to the order they spawn in and move next to the first one.
- If the second one spawned on your left, move left of the first circle and vice versa.
- Stand next to the first circle and soak the wave.
- Wait for your
Shadowquake debuff to expire and run into the second wave.
- Stand still and get hit by the third wave once
Shadowquake debuff expires.
- Three
- Tank Mechanics:
Fists of the Voidlord acts as the melee swing on this fight. This will deal damage directly to you but also deal damage to players in 15 yards.
- This will also knockback any players hit.
- Tanks should be ahead of the raid.
- If your positioning means that you will take two stacks of
Darkened Sky use a defensive CD.
Cosmic Collapse is the tank swap for this phase. This projects a circle around you which deals increased damage to players inside of it.
1.4.
Heroic Changes:
- Phase 1:
Dark Matter will now drop a permanent pool on the ground. Place these on the edges of the platform.
- Intermission:
- Null Binder adds are now present on the platform. They will repeatedly cast
Null Binding which deals large amounts of raid wide damage and applies a stacking slow to the raid.
- If you have Death Knights in the raid they should grip these to the raid instantly and you will cleave and stun them.
- If you do not have any DKs then you will need to CC them.
- Null Binder adds are now present on the platform. They will repeatedly cast
- Phase 2:
Cosmic Collapse from the active tank will now pull all players towards the tank. Stand just outside of the circle from the tank and get safely pulled into them. As soon as this ends a tank swap will happen. The tank should move right and the raid moves left.
- Avoid being pulled through Voidstars or the boss. You will die.

Quick TLDR Guide
1.5.
Phase 1:
- Start the fight by using the portals to get to the boss platform. This will pull the boss.
- Kill Living Mass adds and pick up the
Excess Mass.
- When
Devour is being cast group the
Excess Mass together and create a
Collective Gravity safe zone to survive.
- After Split to your assigned sides of the platform.
- Avoid being knocked off the platform from
Massive Smash. You will be knocked away from the Tank. The tank should be in the centre of the platform.
- Spread out with
Dark Matter circles. On Heroic this will leave a permanent pool on the ground.
- The following cycle will repeat for the rest of the phase:
Massive Smash knockback from Tank.
- Living Mass adds.
- Soak
Antimatter pool. Wait for it to activate.
- Players with
Reverse Gravity move to the back of the platform. Players with
Excess Mass stand under them to pull them down.
- Cycle 1: Repeat the above stages.
- Cycle 2:
Devour. Players with
Excess Mass group up to create the safe zone.
- Tanks: In this and Phase 2 any players in 15 yards of you while tanking the boss will be hit and knocked back.
1.6.
Intermission:
- Fly to the boss platforms. Follow the rings, avoid floating rocks and lazer beams. Enjoy this part of the phase.
- Maintain
Soaring Reshii you will start with a few seconds of this buff and it will refresh each time you fly through a ring.
- Optional: Three players can fly away from the main path to collect
Stellar Core. These have set locations and will deal damage to the platform minibosses.
- Both Platforms: Kill one add in the line going towards the boss. Watch the bosses hands and avoid
Extinction by moving to the left or right edge.
- Both Platforms: Kill one add in the line going across the platform. The boss will push the raid away with
Gamma Burst get pushed through the gap.
- Both Platforms: If any Tank gets to 15 stacks of
Touch of Oblivion they will die.
- Both Platforms - Heroic Only: CC or Grip the Nullbinders to prevent them from casting
Null Binding.
- Platform 1: Avoid the
Mass Ejection frontal from the miniboss. This is aimed at the current tank.
- Platform 2: Move away from the
Stardust Nova circle.
1.7.
Phase 2:
- Pop all CDs at the start of the Phase. Dimensius is
Destabilized. Stunned and takes increased damage.
- Do not stand under the boss, or move outside of the ring that is on the edge of the platform. You will die.
- Avoid the Voidstars on the platform. You will run into them to survive
Devour later in the phase.
- Move next to the first of the three
Darkened Sky circles and get hit by the ring that projects from it. Wait for your
Shadowquake debuff to end and get hit by the next one and then wait for the last one to reach you.
- Tanks: Make sure you are ahead of the raid so they are not hit by
Cosmic Collapse.
- Heroic:
Cosmic Collapse will pull the entire raid towards the tank. Make sure you do not get pulled through the boss.
- Stand in a Voidstar to survive
Devour. Each cast will make the platform smaller, and after 3
Devour casts you will wipe.
- Some Voidstars will be targeted by
Supernova and turn into
Black Hole. Avoid these.
