Was there ever any indication of the opposite? As far as I'm aware those were never containers. They've always worked the way they have, just that until now we haven't had a chance to really see it in action.

Druids Travel form has been nerfed(bugged?) from 200% speed to 181% speed out of combat, have yet to test in combat. We can for the time being use the Feral Affinity to get back to 196%, but this is unacceptable as a guardian druid, I need Ysera's Gift.

I am not sure why this is listed but in the official patch notes clearly have this listed although it doesnt say in half, it just says reduced.

7.1.5 Official Patch Notes

Updated Features

Artifact Knowledge and Class Hall Updates

New Bind-on-Account items are available from the Artifact Researcher in your Class Order Hall. These items can be sent to alternate characters to immediately get them to higher Artifact Knowledge levels.

For new players just reaching 110, there is a new set of repeatable quests that will allow you to immediately exchange Order Hall Resources for Artifact Knowledge up to Artifact Knowledge level 15.

The time it takes to complete Class Hall research has been reduced. A shorter time to complete Class Hall research for Tiers 3, 4, 5, and 6 will make it easier to upgrade your Class Halls on alts and new characters.

Just... What?!

I don't understand why they have added this... this is too much benefit for engineers (even if everyone can complete the quest when Mr.Robot is set on the ground) and add another way to get legendaries for the luckiest among us^^

So, I have one question, does the opening of the gift enhance the general chances of getting legendaries?

too much benefit?  maybe, but to me it seems better than level 800 engineering being absolutely useless compared to the tens of thousands of gold it takes to get there

To be fair though, Guardian Druids have used Balance Affinity since the start of the expansion, not Ysera's :D

I thought Blizzard would assign the caches a different item ID so that players would not hoard them to get 7.1.5 Legendaries instantly.

Oh yeah, I've noticed something else too. Timewalking gear is now 830 ilv base and 845 ilv warforged.

That may have been mentioned a while ago when they said that gear from dungeons would go up in level as patches were released, but it wasn't anywhere in the patch notes for 7.1.5 and isn't in this list of undocumented changes so I'm putting it out there.

Gear from Legion dungeons hasn't changed for now, or at least Dungeon Journal still shows 805/825/840.

Thank you! I have included the changes in the main post :). Also to answer the question about speeding up the Class Hall Upgrades. I have added it here, because in the official patch notes there were no numbers.

Heh, turns out the new post that clarifies how legendary upgrades work also tells us that this will actually be the case, once Nighthold comes out. :p

We've all seen the giant Hallowfall crystal and just how great it looks, but as it turns out, the light emanating from it actually changes in a sort of strange day/night cycle, and we get a really awesome transition into Void light animation!
First off we can see a snippet of the change in Blizzard's official short preview of the zone:
And then there's this extended look at the switch, showcasing just how impressive the animations are, by PreachGaming's Chunkeyninja:
And here's a slightly better look at the Void to Light transition, courtesy of Kexman:
The exact timing on the cycle isn't 100% clear, but MrGM noted how it works on the Alpha right now, with a 3 hour cycle, as the Void part remains active for 30 minutes:

Hopefully we'll also get some lore to go with the transition, as the light into void thing is pretty thematically interesting, as well as being really visually impressive.
