A note on the glyphs section.

Also, the Feasts (blood, water, savage) are no longer ideal as they currently give Mastery no matter what.

I would also be curious to know what you think about the crafted trinket, Knight's Badge, at max ilvl as it relates to the BiS trinkets. My research, though without testing of my own, puts it fairly high up the list, well above Tectus' Beating Heart (Heroic).

Just thought I'd say on the Talents/Glyphs page, the Glyph of Blood and Thunder is only useful for Thunder Clap, not whirlwind as it is posted.

Increases the radius of Whirlwind and Thunder Clap by 4 yards.

With the upcoming Patch, the PTR patch notes indicate an additional effect for Gladiator Stance:

Gladiator's Resolve (Protection): spell_warrior_gladiatorstance.gif Gladiator Stance now also increases the Warrior's Mastery by 50% 30%while active.

How will this affect the stat priority lineup for Gladiator's? With a 50% boost, where will we see mastery on the list? As of now, it's listed as the least effective stat. Obviously, it won't be more powerful than Strength and Bonus Armor. Probably not even crit, but will it be the next stat to shoot for after crit?

Any insight would be super helpful. Thank you!! Great guide BTW. I use it constantly to make sure my glad war is up to date!

Edit: Fixed grammatical error

I see the trinket list has been updated, too bad its aimed at fury and arms rather than gladiators, seeing as Knights Badge 4/4 is alot stronger than Skull of War 4/4

Any plans on adding the Knight's Badge to the Gladiator List? really want to know if it's worth investing the full upgrades on it.

I'm trying to choose a warrior spec, and so I've been looking at these guides (great work by the way, they are super helpful).  After reading the "Class Overview" section of the guides I've become a little confused.

In this guide (Gladiator Warrior) you've written:
"Currently, Gladiator Warriors perform comparably to Arms Warriors, and better than Fury Warriors."

But in the Arms Warrior guide it says:
"The Arms specialisation is performing fairly well in terms of PvE DPS. At high gear levels, it is below Fury, but at lower gear levels, Arms will do more DPS than Fury."

The Fury Warrior guide doesn't say anything regarding this.

From the statement in the Arms guide it seems like Fury outclasses arms (at high gear levels).  This seems to contradict what is said in the Gladiator guide, which says that Gladiator outclasses Fury, but performs comparably with Arms.  If Gladiator is performing comparably to Arms, shouldn't it be outclassed by Fury at high gear levels?

Sorry if this double posts, I was getting an error message, and it didn't seem that my post was showing up, so I registered to try posting it again.

This guide is a bit dated for 6.2. Some things seem to be updated, some not. The stat priority for one isn't. Gladiator is below Fury and Arms right now. But not as far behind as it was recently. According to sims at least. I'm personally having no problems keeping up with the fury/arms warrior in my raid team however. With a similiar ilvl, and I'm even lacking the 2 set while he has it.

How come the trinket BiS list doesn't include any of the bonus armor trinkets?

We've tweaked the stat priority a bit to make it more accurate (though, it was still mostly good before). As for the trinkets, we're looking into a better list. Should be updated tomorrow.

I raid gladiator in end game heroic and even bit of mythic. I do..

1.Bonus armor

2.Crit.

3.Haste

But haste to 15% before buff if possible, as I find I can usually fit 3 shield slams into each shield charge, as long as I get a proc which I normally get. It also reduces GCD which is a large part of gladiator, as you should macro devastate and heroic strike into the same button. For optimal filler spam. Hastes value is also increases by empty drinking horn and unending hunger which are the two Bis trinks. On top of this the added attack power (you will have a pretty high % even without stacking) makes your auto attacks do more damage.

ONLY use shield slam with shield charge up (unless shield charge is on CD) and ONLY use shield charge right before shield slam. I use a macro to make this happen.

Also bloodbath is taken on almost every fight over bladestorm. Bladestorm based largely on weapon damage, and isn't as strong for glad as fury and arms. Take it on fights like Kormok and iskar where adds needed to be burst but bloodbath for longer cleave fights like tyrant and archie, as thunderclap applies deepwounds, bloodbath and drinking horn, as well as dragon roar applying bloodbath and drinking horn.

My usual glyphs are cleave, bull rush, and wind and thunder. Cleave is a must for any fight for ANY fight where you'll have two targets. Bulls rush is good for extra rage gen, as you'll often be raged starved from spamming heroic strike. Wind and thunder is good for applying deep wounds to as many targets as possible.

My rotation goes like this..

0.Prepot bonus armor, use blood bath on pull.

1.Charge and press devastate/HS macro to apply deep wounds.

2. shield charge/slam. Keep this on CD

3.Revenge on CD to generate rage.

4. thunder clap to apply deep wounds to adds

5.Dragon roar on CD

6. Devastate/HS on as filler.

Bloodbath should be used on CD but only when it matches with shield charge/slam combo, or in line with hero/ring.

I still want to know why the heck these guides all say that "Juggernaut is the best rage generation". Juggernaut and Double Time both allow you to generate rage every 12 seconds. They are the same rage generation. And Double Time also lets you use it back to back in a pinch. Juggernaut should never be taken over Double Time.

You can't generate rage using charge on the same target within a certain window (i think its like 12 secs?) So if you say charge a boss and charge them again 5 seconds later, the 2nd charge will generate no rage.

The new War Within Allied Races was added to the Alpha today and we already have a full look at not only all their customization options, but their dances as well, courtesy of MrGM! You can check out the Earthen's racial abilities here if you missed them earlier.
Let's start with the more dynamic feature, with both male and female dances:

So, are we liking the new Allied Race overall? More than actual dwarves?

Here's a really cool possibility for the War Within, as a very subtle and mildly mysterious comment from Executive Producer and Vice President for WoW, Holly Longdale, may be hinting at our Warband characters getting a lot more involved in our travels!
First spotted by UlthansWrath, Longdale came up to Taliesin & Evitel at the recent London War Within Alpha press event and had a short chat about the Warband screen, when she casually said "wouldn't it be cool if those were the characters you took as your followers in your Follower Dungeons?" After the obvious confirmation from Taliesin and Evitel that, yes, yes it would be cool, she just said "hm" and that was the end of the conversation.
Obviously this isn't any sort of official confirmation, but considering this is a really awesome idea, it seems likely Blizzard are at the very least discussing it, if not already working on it.

The Warband system is already great, and this would add a lot to it for players that choose to go solo into dungeons, as it would give them even more motivation to get some great characters in their Warband - even if it was just a cosmetic option.
So, what do you think, will we be seeing this feature when the War Within launches?
