Table of Contents

Ship's Cannon is a neutral minion. This card was introduced with Goblins vs Gnomes and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.

1. General Comments

Ship's Cannon is a new introduction to the Pirate set in Goblins vs Gnomes. The 2 random damage effect is potentially extremely powerful and compares favourably to Knife Juggler if you have enough Pirates in your deck to support it.

2. Constructed Play

Ship's Cannon will be an essential inclusion in any Pirate themed deck. The Pirate set was in need of more options prior to the release of Goblins vs Gnomes, so this, along with the other Pirates are a welcome addition. Rogue and Warrior seem to be the best choice for a Pirate deck due to the Weapon synergy that some of the cards offer.

3. Arena

Ship's Cannon is a fairly average pick in Arena. Since Pirates are still fairly rare, you are unlikely to draft enough in the deck to see this cards effect get activated. Looking at the card purely on stats, a 3/2 is usually preferred to a 2/3 in Arena, meaning there will often be higher priority picks than Ship's Cannon.
