Counterfeit Coin is a Rogue-only spell. This card was introduced with Mean Streets of Gadgetzan and can now only be obtained through crafting. Below the card images, you will find explanations to help you use the card optimally in every game mode of Hearthstone.
General Comments
Counterfeit Coin is used to help Rogue perform powerful combos. On the surface, it look like a much weaker version of Druid's Innervate, however Rogue decks are able to have much more explosive combo turns when using cards like Edwin VanCleef and Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
Constructed Play
Counterfeit Coin is a powerful card for Miracle Rogue decks, as it helps enable explosive turns using Edwin VanCleef and Gadgetzan Auctioneer. In other Rogue decks, Counterfeit Coin is very weak and is not able to live up to its potential.
Arena
Counterfeit Coin is no longer available in Arena.
