Sub Rogue - Glyph of Hemorrhaging Veins - Question

Recommended Posts

In the single target rotation seciton for sub (https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/subtlety-rogue-pve-dps-rotation-cooldowns-abilities), it talks about not needing to apply ability_rogue_rupture.jpgRupture if the target already suffers from ability_rogue_sanguinaryvein.jpgSanguinary Vein. However, it only lists ability_rogue_garrote.jpgGarrote and inv_knife_1h_cataclysm_c_05.jpgCrimson Tempest. If I have spell_holy_sealofsacrifice.jpgGlyph of Hemorrhaging Veins, can I skip using ability_rogue_rupture.jpgRupture all together?

You cannot skip Rupture. Sanguinary Vein not only boosts overall damage when active, it boosts Rupture damage, making it a preferred finisher over Eviscerate (if you aren't clipping the debuff). The only time you skip Rupture on a target is when you've already applied Sanguinary Vein using that glyph and the target will die before Rupture finishes ticking. The guide mentions not applying Rupture while Garrote is active during your opener, and that is to take advantage of all your buffs being active at once to give you huge Eviscerate hits.

Just to expand on what Krush said:

The reason you don't skip Rupture is that it has better damage per energy compared to Eviscerate. It's worth applying Rupture if it will last around half it's duration - that's where it breaks even in damage dealt with Evis

In any case, this all changes with WoD when BS and Amb multistrikes cause Rupture to tick down and deal damage instantly, so you'll want to refresh asap in order to keep the bleed up and avoid needing to reapply it during Find Weakness

It is true we will be casting it more due to the new Sinister Calling advancing our bleeds. Whether it is "way more" is unsure. I'm foreseeing a lot more care and energy/point pooling at low Rupture levels though, because we won't be able to guarantee that we can work our way back up to 5 combo points as the timer lurches randomly downwards. This will also be the case because we'll be we'll be able to refresh Rupture without repercussion at sub 7 seconds.

As the title already said I'm needing help understanding how to make the build like the guide says, i somehow need to get the full set bonus of bones of Rathma but i also need the full Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus for cd reduction i can get that with ring of royale grandeur but i also need to use fate's vow helm but if i use it i cant get the full Bones of Rathma set bonus or Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus.
If anyone know how i can get that build to work please say how, I'm open to any suggestions.

I am going the corpselance support build for Necromancer and the build has me taking Corpselance with Brittle and the pestilence set on top of that, if I were to take off the ability Corpselance and change it to another ability say for example Bone Spikes with Frost spikes, would the damage decrease an amount that it would not be worth it?

Hey everybody! So the other day, I decided to make a 5-minute guide on how to play the Warrior class in WoW. It's not super in-depth, but I just wanted some good feedback from the Warrior community on this. Lemme know what you guys think! I also hope that this is able to help somebody out there.   ?

So i heard about primal ancients, and i m kinda desperate to get it. Why? It can make my Demon Hunter even powerful then he is now (I deal about 35m damage) So how do you get them? I know how though. Get in a GR 70 and do it Solo, but how do you do it actually? How much do you need to farm this for? A week? A month? A YEAR? The point is, i want primal ancients, and have NO IDEA how to farm them :// so... i need a bit of help for farming :))

I'm new to using icy-veins, and I cannot seem to get used to navigating the WoW class guides. Why is stat info the 13th section of the guides, but max level content 6th through 12th? Where do I find comparisons between specs?
